The Dog Inn in South Gloucestershire

Came here to meet up for a walk; enjoyed a very good cod and chips for lunch. Others enjoyed their different lunches. Would definitely visit again. See if you find the building in the photo

Good old fashioned country pub clean friendly food tasty, worth a visit as takes me back to how pubs used to be

Nice pub food with very friendly service. A really nice place to enjoy a meal.

The Dog In was very nice Pub, good atmosphere, open fire with carpet on the floor which my Greyhound appreciated, nice food but I did only have the soup, big car park and I liked it enough to be going back again.

A lovely old pub and very warm and welcoming with the open fire, however, with most nice pubs the drinks seemed terribly expensive. Over 12 pounds for a pint of guiness and a G and T.

Great find, we went for an early evening meal. Food was delicious, and well presented and served all together.Good choice of specials on the board.Staff helpful without being intrusive, really good recommendation from a friend.

Staff were friendly and helpful but food was awful. Cauliflower cheese was cold had to go back to the microwave which is probably where the meat was cooked too. Tough to find a good word about the food

Good beer, good food, two open fires. Independent free house, a great country pub and a great local. Lovely staff

Great pub and accommodation. Just got back from a 3 night stay. Very clean and comfortable room with kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. Very reasonably priced, which included breakfast. We ate here all 3 nights and the food was fantastic (would definitely recommend the fish pie!!). Staff very friendly and great service all round.

Fab, super friendly pub perfect for dog and family stays. Stayed for a night but we would have liked to stay longer. Landlady and team were really welcoming and very dog friendly. Room was clean and we'll stocked (even has a fancy coffee pod machine!). Food was really tasty too. We'll definitely come back! Thank you.
