The Fox & Hounds in South Gloucestershire

Friendly pub, went twice - Sunday lunch and also an evening meal - during our holiday. Huge portions with lots of choice. All cooked fresh. Lovely beer garden at the back, and the pub is tastefully decorated.

Went there for a funeral wake today. First time and well impressed. The staff where funny but very polite. The food spread was tasty with lots of choice.We looked at the main menu and specials board fantastic and best of all not to costly. We are planning on visiting again Soon. Even if the men's watering area(loo) is out the back past the carpark and in the field. Not really only in back of pub and no stairs.

Excellent home cooked food wide menu and good portions , been there a couple of times recently and has been superb , definitely recommend

Lovely meal, vegatables were fresh, service was good. Lovely home atmosphere in this pub, especially with the big fire going. Landlady very friendly, set in lovely countryside.

Went with another couple. Food served quickly and high standard, well priced and very generous portions. Nice real fire keeping all cozy. Would have liked a check now and then to see if we wanted more drinks but that's just a pit picky. I had cod and chips and got a lovely piece of cod and proper tipple cooked chips. All meals were great.

Visited The Fox and Hounds on Monday 11th October. For an evening meal. The staff were very friendly and the choice of food was very good. When the food arrived it was hot, nicely presented and a good amount. We would recommend a visit.

Very friendly, welcoming staff and good, wholesome food make this a great place to come with family and friends (and pooches!). Great garden for sunny days, too.

Went here for a large family get together. It's one of our favourite pubs to go to with an extensive menu, so something for everyone. Food portions are very generous, you definitely won't be going hungry, we even took some home in a box. Friendly service and food arrived quickly.
