The Huntsman Inn Restaurant in South Gloucestershire

Excellent in every way.Excellent FoodExcellent ServiceExcellent AtmosphereExcellent StaffAll the food was very tasty, great portions and delivered to the table in a timely manner.It was a very busy night, however the staff were attentive to all customers all the time throughout the night.The cosy atmosphere with the log fire just added even more to an excellent evening meal.

This pub has got something right! Great food, welcoming atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff and a gorgeous double aspect stove. The standard menu is great on its own but the specials board is a delight, tonight we had Brie Bites and a lovely Pate then Sea Bass and a Monk Fish Tai Curry off the board - both impeccable, finished with a lovely Cheesecake and Sticky Toffee Pudding. If we lived locally we would be very happy to work our way through the menu, but as we are around 120 miles away we will just have to wait until we're next in the area.

Had a lush meal for my mother's birthday. They looked after us well and enjoyed the layout of the place feels like you have your own private dining

They were short staffed today but you wouldn't have known it. Great service and great food. Would definitely stop here for lunch again!

The Huntsman was good. A group of us had a meal there. It was a delayed Xmas evening meal.The menu was a little limited due to winter demand, but OK.The food was good, service very good. Well worth a visit. I would advise you book. 🙂👍.

I absolutely loved their meal. Well cooked and very tasty. It did take a while for our order to arrive though, otherwise the service was great.

We love this pub!! The most friendliest staff and always so welcoming!, brilliant customer service and the Food is excellent, we wish this pub was closer to where we live in Cirencester!. But we make every effort to go as often as we can as we enjoy their hospitality.- Julie and Baz

Oh, an unexpected stop, but I'd love to go again. I had a Turkey Sunday Roast yesterday. We were looking for a place to eat and I must say, I will come back on my next ride to the Bristol airport.The food was amazing, the staff was amazing, I really have nothing to complain. Really spot on! A hidden jem, but one to always remember.

We called in The Huntsman for Sunday lunch, on the off chance, as all the other local pub/restaurants we telephoned were fully booked. They had a table for four available so we ordered two beef roast lunches and two lamb roast lunches, the food was delicious. We were made very welcome by friendly staff who explained that the meats were locally sourced and all was cooked to perfection, the chef even made his own horseradish sauce, which was the best I have ever tasted. We would not hesitate to recommend the Huntsman Inn and we very much look forward to our next visit.
