Absolutely fantastic experience, great customer service from Owen, he was amazing and made sure everything was ok with our meals. Great customer service. Nothing to much trouble for him. Also the manager was great too makes u feel welcome as soon as you walk into the pub. Great service and the meals were lovely, I will definitely visit again and recommend to friends.

The meat was cooked to perfection and all the food was piping hot and tasty. The meals and deserts came out quickly so we didn’t have to wait long. The staff were friendly and the setting and decor was lovely, so a nice environment to spend some time with my family. Keep up the good work, it didn’t go un-noticed. 😊

The service was rather slow today, and my family and I had to wait over half an hour for our meals to be delivered to our table. Usually, the service is quicker, but we were told by a staff member that only one chef was working in the kitchen. Notwithstanding the delay, we had a pleasant time and the meals were adequate and certainly complimented our appetites. Albeit our meals were somewhat smaller than they are when we serve ourselves, hopefully it won't be too long before we can do so again.

Popped in for lunch. Good menu not too many choices. There is a lighter section for smaller appetites. I like the pub classics. I ordered the pie with mash, veg and gravy. It wasn't the pie on the menu (no puff pastry lid), but still excellent and flavourful. Generous serving of mash and veg. Well worth it. Nice ambiance. Will definitely be 'popping in' again. Thanks Answer to owner: Hi, please update your menu as it definitely says puff pastry lid.

I started visiting the Lawns in late September, and since then have gone every Sunday or occasionally on other days. The food is nice, and the staff are friendly enough. The only two demerits are the powdered stuffing and roast potatoes, which I am not fond of unless they are smothered in goose fat. Although what I do like is the fact that one can choose between two meats at the carvery.

Would have been good to have a curry menu printed for curry night. Waitress had to ask cleaner what was available.Lovely curryPudding served with th ice cream instead of custard. Took ages to find a member of staff to change it

The food improved alot since the new manger arrived. You have a good team of staff that work really hard and very polite and work hard to please your customers. Shane , Ryan and Mike are amazing chief.
