The New Inn Pub in South Gloucestershire

Avery nice pub and restaurant it is weird run has a good size car park a children's out door play area out door seating and a covered area so you can stay outside in to the evening the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food was great and I will certainly be going back soon

Absolutely outstanding meal as always. Haven’t been here for a while but the food never ever disappoints. We had steaks and it was much better tasting than miller and Carter 100% recommend you will not be disappointed either!! Very happy customers

We called in last night and despite being fully booked we were seated in the bar area as we were only 2.What can I say! As good, if not better than ever. I had the Stilton chicken and Claire had a done to perfection sirloin steak. Its five stars all the way for us.Thank you for getting us in.

Food was very nice and lots of it, service from staff was brilliant. It was just the manager/landlord that was a bit Basil Fawlty. Don't book a table for a party no bigger than 10 unless you don't mind being on separate tables. We were a party of 12 on one table and was so squashed in we had to eat with our arms tucked in like a T Rex...was quite uncomfortable.

Was random night out fancy pie oh my this was ticket best pie I tasted in pub . The food was amazing I couldn't eat all of it but I so wanted to but I did eat all my pie and most vegetables chips was lush but belly said no lol . Yes I would go here again to try other menu. Nice little pub for dates .

Highly recommend! The manager was so helpful and accommodating to us. Last minute we had a group of almost 20 who had no where to go after a funeral as the service was cancelled at the church due to the storm, we phoned the new inn after a recommendation and with less than a hours notice they said they would be able to ensure we had somewhere to go. They made sure they had a room ready for us for when we got there and we’re so friendly, despite the circumstances we had a lush time and was able to have the family all together! Thank you so much.

Family took me to the New Inn to celebrate my 75th birthday an excellent choice of restaurant, food first class my steak cooked as per my request, very helpful staff will visit again

Had a Sunday roast dinner, very happy with our meal, it was piping hot, seasonal veg & a choice of meats. You can have all meat for an extra charge. Although a little expensive compared to other pubs in the village, the service was exceptional, the staff are all very friendly & polite & the premises is clean. Would highly recommend.

I visited The New Inn today and last night. Was looking for a place that serves great food and I definitely wasn't disappointed.Last night I hadn't booked but they made room for me so thanks for that guys. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the steak and real ale pie and it was superb. Excellent quality steak that melted like butter and there was plenty of it.Today I had the lamb shank with vegetables and lamb/mint gravy.....what can I say.... brilliant. Lamb just fell of the bone and great rich flavour. Compliments to the chef.Great selection of beers and I can see why you have to book. A must for anyone wanting a hearty meal, great surroundings and friendly staff. Prices were very good for the size of the meals.

Superb meal at this wonderful establishment. Celebrated my wife's birthday with a midweek lunch, and the starters and mains were delicious. The portions of both starters and mains were more than generous, and well worth the price. Only one downfall ( not food or service related ), but there was a signage outside requesting that face should be worn until seated, which we quite understood and appreciated, but a table of 4 next to us obviously didn't want to adhere to this, and unfortunately, the staff didn't request that they did. ( They walked in without coverings, and walked around without coverings also!). I believe they may have been regulars, so probably went unchallenged. It did make us feel slightly uncomfortable!
