Just a wonderful pub. Nice and cosy, good food and staff are friendly, there is also a large garden to sit and relax, large carpark right next to the pubWe had a lovely meal here on 27 June, the menu is extremely good, we had steak , so thick and tasty, I had a wonderful salad , dont hesitate in booking a table

Excellent, lovely food and friendly service. Good menu. The carrot and coriander soup and the steak pie were both really good. Will be returning soon

A great pub for food, probably one of the top pubs in the area, it has a nice homely feel, a good and varied menu, brilliant staff always very helpful and obliging, good all round, I've never been disappointed.

Had 2 different adult meals very nice. 3kids meals but could of had 2 more choices especially with fussy kids. Few more chips on the main meals would of been better. Over all nice meal.

Absolutely amazing food. Staff are very professional. The homemade pie of the day was delicious. No need to ask for side's as everything is of ample portions x

Friendly staff, dog friendly pub so stinks of wet dog but you soon get used to it once inside. If you go in for a pint after work though you can either sit on the sofa. One allocated table or outside as they set all the other tables up for evening meals.

This was the first time I'd visited this pub and was pleasently surprised by the standard of the food and service. It was a family meal with a couple of very young children, but we were seated at a table which allowed for them to " run around". Would definitely visit again.

What a great pub, we have been there quite a few times in recent months. The menu seems to have changed on accassions, but the standard of food food and service has remained top class. We had the pie and a pint Wednesday special on our latest visit, absolutely delicious. I know it's winter and we should be eating hearty and warming food but I do miss The Swan's ploughman's lunch which had to be the best I've ever had. Roll on summer.
