The Vintage Birdcage Cakery in South Gloucestershire

Fantastic café on the edge of the park. We're not local but found it on Google maps.Courtyard and indoor seating. Varied menu - sandwiches, baguettes, jacket pots and more, especially cakes. All freshly prepared with generous portions. Staff were all efficient, friendly, attentive and professional. Café seemed very popular, but still plenty of room between the tables. Lots of people getting take away cakes. We would definitely visit again. One of the best cafés we've been to.

Amazing lovely place. The staff is literally adorable and friendly.A large choice of cakes, you can even ask depending on your proper taste, we have asked for a large cookie and we received an amazing sandwich cookie (not even available from the counter so do not hesitate😍)The place is lovely, lot of different small space with flowers around. Smoothie are freshAfternoon tea seems just so yummy so it might worth it to come and try it and also take the time to book it as it is really busy on the weekend and we know why.The food is fresh, lot of variety on the menuBrunch are available until 12 but even after you will find what you want that's for sure 😍Also please not that the crazy milkshakes are no more available but normal ones still are.

We enjoyed a really tasty breakfast in this lovely place. Staff very friendly and good prices. So, what else to start a fantastic sunny day!

Visited on the weekend and it was honestly the best afternoon tea I've ever had. I've booked to go back with friends but it's so popular I've got to wait until August until I can go again 😔 but it's definitely worth the wait!

Went last Sunday it was our second visit here and once again it didn't disappoint I'm normally a sweet tooth 😋 but I decided to go savoury and went for their sausage and egg sandwich in other cafes you're lucky if you get two sausages here there were at least three plus two eggs! I couldn't eat it all coffee great and all reasonably priced too and such lovely staff as well. If you're looking for great tasting food and coffee ☕ then this is definitely the place to go

Excellent afternoon tea. Sandwiches were freshly made, the savouries and scones were still warm, the cake is proper homemade tasting goodness. Great value for money and wonderful surroundings.

Came today for my birthday treat of afternoon tea with my husband. What can I say the food was absolutely delicious and so much you get lots of different flavours. Included with the afternoon tea is unlimited tea or Americano but you can get a latte or cappachino but just the one. The sandwiche fillings were yummy but the cakes and scones were out of this world. Definitely worth the wait and the room is decorated lovely.

Lovely cafe and cakery tucked away in a little side road of Yate (walking access from Kingsgate Park). Free parking if you submit your number plate in the cafe. Been here a few times for lunch, coffee and cakes. Loads and loads of choice of cakes - the cheesecake and brownies were especially delicious. Also great selection of paninis and sandwiches etc. for lunch. Want to come back to try afternoon tea! Definitely recommend!
