Lovely surprise! Passed it a thousand times and decided to pop in. Gorgeous food, wonderful views and service. A little bit pricey but worth it! Recommend the fresh desserts!!

I was away on business, didn't know the area and needed an evening meal. Pub looked good from outside. Worried as I went in as there was a spicy vibe (not my thing) but they had pizza 🍕. Very welcoming and friendly. Lovely ham and mushroom. Other diners seemed happy and their food was well presented.

Nice "white horse" beer!, pizzas quite empty for the price but taste good and the place is lovely with a garden and a park for the children.

·

Good quality food, pleasant friendly staff, beautiful views. Reasonable prices and dog friendly. Definitley worth another visit hopefully on a warm sunny day so we can sit out on the terrace and enjoy the scenery while we eat.

Incredible food, stunning location and lovely people. A visit is highly recommended. Thank you all at The White Horse for the superb service, we have a great time every time. I can't wait to go back!

My pictures don't do the pub justice it has been decorated beautifully and has ample parking and great views. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and service was impeccable. The food was good especially my starter of sheek kebab I didn't get a photo unfortunately as completely forgot but my main I just went for a veggie bean burger it came with chips and coleslaw and a side of homemade onion rings. Really tasty homemade onion rings the burger was nice could have done with some burger relish and cheese as only came with salad. Can't wait to come back to go back and try some homemade curry next time.

Great pub. Lovely views from the garden - under cover with heaters if required.Food was a decent pub food, I had the Hunters Chicken and it was delicious. They do a great range of Indian cuisine - I'd really like to try that next time.Staff were really friendly which makes your dining experience so much nicer.Dog friendly, we sat in the garden as lunch time and warm weather.

A very pleasant lunch outside under pergola with lovely views. Will be coming back. Enjoyed the steak and ale pie, reasonable portion size, not too much. Staff very friendly.

Will never be returning here again. Visited this pub a few days ago with my dad and brother to have dinner, but we were tossed to the bottom of the garden and only allowed drinks as they were “all booked”, but could see table upon table of emptiness the whole time we were there. Waiter also never bothered to check on us or ask if we wanted any more drinks after over 30 mins so we left. FOLLOWING THIS, I visited the day after with a group of friends, we are all aged 20-25. We have never experienced pub staff being so RUDE to us. A few members of the group were told off for smoking on the terrace as people we eating, ( no one was eating the place was practically empty), and there wasn’t a single no smoking sign ANYWHERE, so how were they to know? A friend ordered food and a few of us were going to wait a little while to order so the waiter took the menus away. Then the manager comes over, and says, “ are you ordering food or not because I’m having to turn people away because you’re taking up all the tables”. He interrupted me before I could even explain that we were planning on ordering. My friend asked how much something on the menu was and he abruptly said he didn’t know and would have to go and look. I said don’t you worry we’ll go and eat somewhere else and he couldn’t seem to care less. This place is either ageist, or just down right rude from some other reviews I’ve read. I’ll disclose how “busy” it was in photos, almost an empty car park and 3 out of 20 odd tables seated and you’re having to turn people away? Ridiculous. We don’t even want a reply from the rude management so save yourself, we just want people to know how vile this place treated us.

What a lovely afternoon we had. Beautiful location, amazing outdoor eating area. Large menu, and food was excellent.Owner was working just as hard. My only thing I would say is there were a couple of members of staff who werent really enjoying what they do. Didn't really interact with us and we're a little grumpy. But it was busy and incredibly hot so that could have been the reason.Would 100% go again.
