The food was good and the prices great. However, we were made to feel very unwelcome by staff and asked to move tables twice by them even though we were still buying drinks and snacks. Had a sleeping baby with us and they sat louder parties right next to us, with 3/4 of the other tables unoccupied. Would not return for this reason.

Ordered a takeaway roast and desserts. The roast was awesome, so much veg and potatoes! Chocolate fudge cake was OK but seemed a bit cheap (not like I used to remember!) All in all a really good service and really good food!

Cannot fault the staff nor the food. The staff were amazing and despite it being late went all out to provide me with a meal in line with my dietary needs. Presentation was worthy of a top class restaurant. My husband and granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed their carvery.Sincere thanks to waitresses: Imogen and Kirsty; Chefs: Andy and Ryan; and Senior Supervisor: Jamie. You made what could have been a disappointing night into a thoroughly pleasing event.

I absolutely love the Toby carvery. This was mother's day and they had an extra addition of dumplings on the carvery deck...cue drools from me! I pretty much had to be wheeled out of the place. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and our little table tucked in the corner meant we were separate from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the restaurant

Breakfast is always super nice here. The dining area is well laid out and clean. The presentation of the food is perfect and the food itself is excellent. There is a lot of things for breakfast for those who want it all or those who want a little. The value is excellent too. What's not to like about a full English on a Sunday morning in a nice setting, to start your day off. Well doe the staff too for all of your efforts, you are all a great team.

It was ok, very busy and there were a few tables that needed clearing but the staff were generally on top of it. There wasn't too much of a wait to be seated, although we had booked and the queue for being served was about ten minutes. The food was good; a selection of four meats including turkey, gammon, pork and beef.

Went with friends but a table had been reserved by them ( they are regulars and my friend said we will have a good table) however it was by the door and we were cold! Food good value, thought the upgrade was a bit high and felt a sausage didn't justify having to pay extra???? What happens to the sausages?????

Disappointing visit, due to non existent hospitality where staff make no eye contact and are most definitely focusing on one thing only - closing time! I'm shocked in this day and age where customer service / manners / politeness should be such a high priority. Here it didn't appear to matter.Rushed in, rushed out, card machine presented before I'd finished chewing my last mouthful. We looked for a Toby as we have had some great experiences under our belt, not this time unfortunately👎

This restaurant gives Toby a bad name! Went on a Saturday, got the large carvery, supposed to have two Yorkshires got one, sausages were tiny, no lamb despite on the menu them saying they offer lamb every weekend and bank holiday.Didn't notice extra meat for a large, was no different to a standard carvery serving. The food was very bland, the only good thing about the food was the roasties, they were cooked very well. Meat cut off beef the chef put most of the beef fat on the plate rather than the meat itself. The waiter taking the order needs customer service training, no smiles to greet (mask or no mask you can see an expression), the only thing he said was, "drinks..., carvery for all?... by card..." that was the entire conversation from entrance to leaving (excluding the conversation with the woman sitting people down at their tables).Tables were rushed clean, very sticky.Been to some great Tobys in the past, this one was the worst I've been too. I won't be returning.

Been Twice in a month for dinner, first time was spot on and couldn't fault. 2nd time wasn't as great but was still ok to good. Otherwise would have been 5 stars. We will be going back as it's Value for money whether you going for carvery breakfast or carvery lunch or dinner.Keep up the good work!
