Uncle Joe's chip shop in South Gloucestershire

Usually I don’t give reviews but just wanted to say as well as having lovely food(especially the chips) I just wanted to also say about how lovely the staff are. They gave my daughter and niece a lollipop each when they were picking up litter outside the shop. Thanks a lot from giles, Amelia and Hanna

Delicious Fish but awful chips which were very dry and cold. Cost so expensive which i feel bit rip off because they asked for cash only, why? And won't go there again.

My opinion they cook the best fish in Bristol. Also very friendly and helpful.

I cannot describe the magnificent test of their fish. And the chips are always sooooo fresh!

Awesome fish and chips! A large will feed two people easily, couldn't quite finish my medium!

after a early start 5.30am and not getting home before 7pm I thought I would go into uncle joes for my supper which I have done several times with various staff running the shop,but this evening I wish I hadn’t bothered! I ordered 2 times cod and chips I was the only customer at the time and had to wait at least 10 minutes to which I thought they were cooking it all fresh to order for which they used to be well known for but no when I got home and plated our suppers out the cod was so dried out and was certainly not freshly cooked and the chips were awful they had been cooked several times over and were just disgusting,I very rarely moan about anything but in a time when businesses are crying out for support right now you would expect that when you do visit them that you would get a reasonable fit to eat food and not dried up leftovers, I will not be using again or recommending to any of my friends or family,.
