Excellent stay at Browns. Really warm welcome, great food and lovely room. Will definitely re-visit!

A great find in the centre of Dartmouth. Home from home. Small dedicated staff all having a determination to make us feel welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Beds really comfortable, room and bathroom spotless. Unique method of changing linen, towels and hospitality using swop box so that no staff had to come into your room during your stay.Only gave four stars because when we first arrived there was a smell of cooking fat throughout the public area. This disappeared after a day and was not noticeable in our room.Breakfast delicious, thank you George.

Just popped in for a cup of coffee, really glad we did. Great coffee and excellent service, really appreciated the warm welcome.

The slightly unpromising exterior belies the modern interior. The bar area, though not to my pubby tastes is very contemporary and clean. Our room (we B&B'd ) was excellent and actually had a proper sofa! First class breakfast too but the stairs could be a problem for some.

The food was marvellous, especially dinner. The best meal that I have had in a long time.The room , and more especially the upper corridor carpets and landing could do with a good clean.Apparently due to covid there is no room service.....

Stayed over for three nights... Lovely, friendly staff. The rooms are all bright and airy with nice decor... We had one of the best meals ever in their restaurant... But not open on Sundays... The bar area is also lovely... Just a shame there's no outside area

Had an evening meal last week, the service was very good, staff polite and friendly, more importantly the food was 1st class, I would recommend it, well done.

Went for dinner. The food was good although the service was struggling to be acceptable. A number of the options on the menu were finished at 7:30pm. The team seemed to be under pressure but Covid might have been the reason for this so we respect that. Anyway, we will choose not to return..

Great food and reasonable prices. Service attentive but not obtrusive. We had scallops, monkfish, pork tenderloin and mussels. All great. Relaxed ambiance and some Bee Gees and Stevie songs on a 70’s playlist in the background.
