Traditional little pub with good proper pub food, lovely open fire in the bar, friendly staff and locals. We ate in the bar area so can't comment on restaurant upstairs, except my husband said the stairs could be tricky after a few pints!

Dog friendly loved every minute here so much character .open fire amazing pie and smash .very friendly definately worth a visit for food and a pint

Really quaint pub but wouldn't go back there due to the rude / cold welcome from the woman behind the bar.Table booked online for 8pm and when arrived told that they only serve food at 7pm.Obviously they don't need the business.We went to the 7 stars where we were greater with a warm welcome and had an excellent meal.

Beautiful old pub. Great atmosphere with friendly staff. You can be sure of a good welcome and a locals feel. We will be back, next time we are in Dartmouth.

Really quaint happy pub with great food and drinks. Rosey cider was just as intended, a good lunch menu both cooked and sandwich fayre. Seafood salad sandwich was full to the brim, fresh and tasty. Steak and kidney pudding with mash divine and not greasy. The haddock mash just brilliant . Prices where not extortionate, the staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
