Always try to stop here for breakfast. Great food, good service and amazing value.

The staff greeted us at the door, then told us where we can sit. The staff seemed very friendly. The decor seems dated, with generic positivity signs and families eating dinner pictures. But it was very clean, and it was nice to see when staff didn't have anything to do, they cleaned. The restaurant has too many tables, I can imagine that when it's busy having to "rub shoulders" with the next guests. We ordered a sausage and egg sandwich, with extra bacon in a baguette. What we got was 2x cheap sausages that had no flavour but oil, two nice bacon slices and one egg, this came with a handful of cheap Doritos style nachos, for some reason. The hot chocolate was very nice, I'll grant them that. But the food seemed more fit for a layby side butty van.My opinion here would be to remove some two seater tables, just because you can fit one in, doesn't mean you should. Then either lower your prices or increase your quality, and dump the nachos and serve a salad. All together the bill came to £15 for two.Disappointing, especially when compared to what you can get from other places. I can't fault them for service, but the food was just cheap.

Had full English breakfast there. Good food but not mind-blowing. Friendly staff and quick service.

Very convenient location on the edge of the moors, plenty of parking. Good food and really lovely friendly staff. Little garden as well if the weather is nice. The garden is by the road but it's a convenient location so you can't have it all ways!

We hadn't visited much recently due to Covid etc so we were excited to go back for a late lunch. We couldn't believe how quiet it was for a Saturday afternoon but then when food arrived we had to send back 2 plates because of quality control ( undercooked and microwave burnt items) . The deserts were amazing as always so I think we'll return again for a coffee & cake but we wouldn't order hot food.

My son had turkey roast, but the meat was slimy and red. They did offer more, but he was already put off by then. Our other meals were very nice.

Myself and my partner popped in for a lovely brunch. The lady who greeted us as we entered was lovely, the food was delicious as we're the drinks. It's a lovely sweet little diner perfect for that quiet meal in a lovely setting. Very impressed

Not bad but kind of just deep fried stuff and prepared roast dinners. I asked for a straw and they gave me something that looks like the exhaust of a boy racers car! ( Well, more like a milkshake straw rather than the drinking straw) Friendly and nice staff kept everything pleasant

We had a good breakfast and for once a pot of tea that was hot. Not normal in many cafes and restaurants these days!! Lovely service from the staff. Had never been there before but will go back

Stunning setting, plenty of parking.Food was delicious, great value and selection. Indoor and outdoor seating. Dogs welcome. Toilet facilities.Service started off great, seated and attended to quickly. But after the food arrived we were almost forgotten.. We ordered our meals and children's meals that came with dessert.. After we had finished we waited around 15 minutes for the plates to be collected and dessert to arrive. we ended up flagging down a waiter who proceeded to bring the dessert with no cutlery. So had to again ask for that. The kids had to eat then with all the dirty plates on the table still and no room. Table wasn't cleared until we left.Sad end to what started as a lovely birthday meal for my mum.
