Surprising gem of a place. A tea room that you serve yourself and pay for what you use in an honesty box. Good selection of items for hot and cold drinks and snacks (early May 2022 visit).

·

Disappointing to be told; "We hired the place for a private function, so it's closed." "I can ask the owner if you want." Not sure about inclusive exclusive brand values there, Red Bull. Some notice at any of the gates or on here would helped.Still, we had a lovely walk, high and low right along the coast between West Soar and South Cove.

Perfect spot to stop off during a long coastal walk. Cakes and scones were perfect ! Oh and a nice cold drink. Love the honesty concept 😊 don’t forget to bring cash, as we did and ended up walking back to get cash as didn’t want to miss out. Finally they have the most beautiful pair of golden retrievers

Honesty cafe is is not fully open yet, but there is a "Grab and Go" area where you can make a takeaway hot drink, and the fantastic homemade cake is still available, plus some other drinks and snacks. Cash only in the honesty pot, all prices in multiples of £1. Toilets not open due to coronavirus. Still a great stop-off when walking to the coast. Awesome effort given the circumstances.

The Walkers Hut is run by two wonderful friendly people. You always feel welcome and not rushed. I've gone there by myself, after a walk, and just sat there and read my book. It was nice that I was checked up on and then left to read.I swear, they have the best cake in the world - always fresh and sometimes even steaming straight out of the oven.Go once and you'll be back!

What a lovely place to visit when walking the coastal path.

·

Lovely coastal walk facility. Tea and cake with voluntary box and wash your stuff. Clean toilets. Worth a visit in its own right.

·

What a great place to find during a misty walk along the coast. No one else there it was so peaceful. The scones cream and jam were lovely.

One of my favourite places to go whatever the weather. A little walk from the National Trust Car Park takes you to the main farm. And then there's a huge barn with a "help yourself & honesty" cafe set up, which is brilliant!!!! The cakes are seriously delicious (especially the carrot cake one), and you can get a cream tea. There's local ice cream, pots of tea, hot chocolate & even lollipops.Everything's clearly priced and there's a calculator if you need it! Dogs are welcome and everyone just washes up their own cod and plates. There's also toilets and baby change nearby. In the walkers hut, there's plenty of seating and a little obstacle course for the kids. From here it's only a bit of a walk to a stunning view of the coast or the working farm nearby.

This is just the best find ever! Parked in the National Trust carpark. It has several disabled parking places. Went through the gate marked East Soar Farm. I went down the track for farm. It was no problem for me in my wheel chair bumpy yes but very manageable (not sure it would be for those who can't be shaken in there wheel chair). It helped me connect with nature. Then at the end of the track is the most delightful barn with a wood chip floor (I did need some help with my wheel chair on this). The barn is a help your self tea/coffee facility with wonderful home made cakes you just pay into a honesty box and wash up afterwards. Excellent loo facilities as well. It's fun and quirky and eccentric enough to have an old Aga in there just for the fun of it. We will all defiantly be back.
