An excellent restaurant, the food is amazing. Try the Taster menu's. If you like fine dining this place is a must. Spent 4 & a half wonderful hours here for a wild food taster evening, where they described each course in detail, fascinating and delicious, they also have a wide selection of wines to accompany each course, I don't drink but those who did were very satisfied.They also cater for Vegetarians and Vegans. The menu changes monthly , the food and drink are all sourced locally, so seasonal and fresh.Could not fault them , overall a great place for great food.

So much to say and so little time. Can with high anticipation for this experience and blew the budget on the evening tasting menu, I didnt get it with wine but optioned instead to mirror the wine pairing and get a few glasses instead along the way. All lovely. The food was impeccable, but as with these things, the portions are delicate rather than generous. I found, despite the 8 or 9 courses, I was still left wanting more. There were many many plates, and it felt like a gift that kept coming, but I wasn't fully satiated, which surprised me. I also wasnt quite as wowed as I might have hoped, not sure why. But the plates are all seasonable and change frequently based on local produce, so it might just be me who feels that way for what I had. The designs of each plate though are impeccable, beautifully crafted, like art. The combinations of quality local ingredients are stunning and unique. Its overall a wow kind of experience. A real treat! You wouldn't go there regularly unless you could afford it so savour the moment!

Outstanding cookery in a relaxed setting. Clever and sometimes surprising combinations expertly executed. The tasting menus guide you through, with wine and other drinks to match if you like. A real treat. It's worth making your way to Totnes to eat here.

Outstanding quality of ingredients, the tasting menu was beautiful from start to finish. The last time we visited about 5 months ago and we were blown away with the dining experience. Unfortunately, this time; I believe through a staffing issue it was not up to that standard. I believe most diners enjoyed their meals. We were unlucky. We were given a reduced bill to compensate. I would be prepared to go back and try it again.

I had the tasting menu and my partner the vegetarian version each with the flight of wines.We have eaten at Gidleigh Park and Lympstone Manor and whilst they are more opulent and the food of high quality I do not believe they compare.with this.

Lovely food! So beautifully set up on the plate too. The tasting menu is actually so good and reasonably priced! Will make it our regular spot for a meal every time we visit Devon/Totnes. Highly recommend it

Brand new, fine dining restaurant which only uses local produce & foraged ingredients. Run by 3 young, very talented chefs & James, a very friendly & knowledgeable front of house. Our meal highlights were the Pink Chihuahua cocktail; the sole croquette starter; homemade sourdough bread with honey mustard butter & the hot caramel souffle with hazlenuts & vanilla butter. Highly recommended.

The food, service and space were all exceptional. We had the tasting menu for lunch and it what it delivered was something special on every course.
