Prices have gone up without changing menu, chips were hard and curry sauce was tasteless. Never again

Terrible customer service and the food was awful. Won’t be ordering from here again .To elaborate..... the order was half an hour late husband was stood outside in the freezing cold as shop was busy ,the young man at the counter did not even address this or mention it ,the noodles were so salty they were inedible, the fried rice was really greasy and stodgy and a tiny bit at the bottom of my chow main , the chips were rock hard not sure they saw the fryer for more than 2 minutes. We don’t eat out often as we can’t afford to this was supposed to be a real treat it was very disappointing.

I visted this takeaway at Ivybridge n i was very impressed. I ordered chef's special fried rice with bbq spare ribs. The portions were really big, there were more ribs then I'd ever had at any Chinese eat in or takeaway before. The reason why i gave it 4 stars n not 5 was that the special fried rice itself needed more sauce, as lovely as it was n it tasted really great with the meat n bbq sauce on the top but a bit more sauce would've been absolutely perfect as it was just a tiny bit dry. Adding the ribs on top of the rice with its own bbq sauce made it just about right. The meal was large enough for 2 maybe 3 people. I'd definitely recommend it as a good takeaway n I'll be going there again the next time I visit Ivybridge.

Don’t let the collection only put you off, a pub landlord recommended me this place because “if a Chinese takeaway in a town full of takeaways can rely on collection only with no website they’re probably pretty good” and he wasn’t wrong!! I got an order for the first time from here last night and it was amazing! BBQ rib sauce was tasty and authentic, meat fell off the bone. Sweet and sour chicken balls where perfectly crisp and not too oily. would like to mention my partner is a finicky “fresh only” chef of 17 years and he was very impressed too! No complaints whatsoever. Must try!!!

Ordered four dishes over the phone and asked them to read it back to us. Picked up the order and got home to find one dish missing. Called and asked to prepare another dish so we could collect (weren’t told over the phone we had to pay - we assumed they got the order right considering they read it back to us over the phone in the first place). So went back and were told we had to pay. We didn’t bring any money because we assumed they forgot the dish and we couldn’t check because they don’t provide receipts. So went home, got money and returned. When we got back we were told they had used our dish to fill someone else’s order. So we had to wait for them to replace it, while the rest of our order was at home going cold, only to be greeted by “£5.10” once the dish was ready. No please, no sorry.So overall, had to return to Golden Bridge three times to collect one order because of two faults in the their service.Would definitely not recommend and certainly won’t be returning.(The only reason we used Golden Bridge is because Joy King was closed)😂

Best Chinese I’ve had in a long time. Hot, tasty and cooked fresh. Would definitely recommend. Have been back already and just as great.

Awful costumer service. They gave me the wrong order. I asked for them to correct their mistake by giving me my correct order and I’ll return the wrong dish. They refused a swap and then refused a refund.They refused a refund even though they recorders my order incorrectly. Extremely rude chef who I could hear saying “I give no refunds”. I asked to get out on the phone to him. Which he refused and I was told he wouldn’t understand what I was saying.I wouldn’t recommend.

Food is always very nice, but for the last year, although ordered on phone for pick up at a specified time, the order is NEVER ready and we end up waiting at least 30 to 40 mins in the shop. For this reason, I think this is our last order, also phone staff never sound happy!
