My friends visited this premises 3rd Febuary and were left feeling totally ripped off. They are both pensioners on a budget and went to buy a pasty which was £3.80 and also a pie at £2.80 and two cups of tea. The bill was £16.50! This was to eat in and they told a side was included as they were eating in. When tried to query the price they were told rudely told by the manager "do you realise how much food costs these day?" She was very rude and abrupt and they came away totally disgusted

Went here for lunch while on holiday in Totnes. The staff were friendly however the order station was so loud that they couldn't hear our order. They did have a good selection of gluten free options such as sandwiches etc. They charged £8 for a panini which was advertised as £4.50 and a sausage roll cost £4! The food wasn't worth the £40! The atmosphere was nice though!

Our new favourite cafe in Totnes! Lovely courteous and obliging lady who served us. Fantastic coffee and delicious bacon pastry. Extremely reasonable prices in line with other cafés in Totnes. Very highly recommended, will definitely be coming here again!

Luke warm tastless coffee and luke warm Pasty and bacon pastry served with coleslaw that looked a week old. Also service was very slow.

The food was good, great cream tea, vegan options too

My food was nice, very expensive for what we had. The man who served us very abrupt, no please or thank you, felt like I was rushed to make my order. Would not eat there ever again.

Delicious vegan pasty in super friendly independent Totnes cafe. We received a warm welcome from the staff despite arriving at the end of the day, nothing was too much trouble - it was really great customer service. Sat outside in the sunny, peaceful and well cared for garden. Highly recommended spot with loads of options for veggies and vegans. We will definitely visit again.

Great outdoors 😊 Nice food... Friendly staff. Good value!

I cannot tell you how much I want to love this place....but I don't. The staff can be rude. The food is basic. And the term "green cafe" a little incongruous as fails to show how it is battling climate change in any way. My last visit resulted in me being moved from a table that I had chosen for comfort to very uncomfortable plastic chairs because we were occupying a four seated table instead of two. As someone with a broken back...This was actually very mean.

Absolutely awful service by a very rude barista who had no personable skills and made us feel like a inconvenience over a valued customer! The atmosphere between the staff was like nothing I’ve experienced before it was as they hated each other and gave the cafe a tense uncomfortable abundance.Coffee was standard. I ordered tuna and jacket potato and it took ages to come and the tuna tasted terrible it was tasteless and had a texture more like corned beef than tuna! They forgot our friends food order and never once said sorry then were rude when they asked for a refund. Will not go back again or recommend to anyone!!!
