Stopped here for Sunday Vegetarian roast. Excellent food, served piping hot. Accompanied by a lovely Valpolicella red. Very friendly helpful staff. Well worth traveling to. Probably best to phone and check availability. Great pub

We were on holiday in Cornworthy this week. Had the Sunday lunch. Oh my goodness, delicious, generous and tasty. We returned later in the week. Steak and kidney suet pudding. Just like my Nan used to make. Beyond words. Food here was the best we had in all the pubs we visited. Home cooked to the highest standard. Such a cosy and homely pub. Our two dogs were made to feel very welcome too. Highly recommended :)

A lovely pub to stay in with a good atmosphere. We went there on two separate occasions for drinks and then a meal. Staff very friendly and a welcoming landlord. There's a nice beer garden outside to enjoy the sun in when it appears. Food was very nice, especially the starters. Will definitely come again if we are around this part of the world!

Just had a family Sunday lunch with our 3 year granddaughter. This pub is totally child friendly with an amazing welcome from all the staff members. Our Sunday lunch was delicious and the puddings were delightful. Next time we are in Devon we will definitely be returning to this pub.

A wonderful place to stay! Really friendly and welcoming owners, the pub is just the spot for locals and Bella the dog is a lovely friend to all the patrons. Delicious breakfasts made to order. Will happily stay again to get away from it all. Thank you Graham & Sue for being such great hosts!

The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We stayed two nights and had dinner and breakfast twice - excellent, freshly cooked food, and the best fish and chips ever! The staff were absolutely charming and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely visit again.

Great place. Have been in 3 times under the new landlord. Drinking proper job (keg) always consistent.Tried their food today - very much recommend - I had lamb cutlets which was cooked, served and presented very well. The rest of my group had the roast beef which looked equally as pleasing.We also had dessert, sticky toffee x 3 and a brownie - clean plates all round.Greta stuff!
