Great location and staff. Food was alright, but not impressed. Nachos was very very cheesy even though I love melted cheese on nachos, this was a bit too much. Nachos was a bit overheated as they were very soggy. Nice taste though. My partners fish and chips, he wasn't impressed. The fish looked large but mostly consistent of batter. Would come again for the location.

Lovely location by the river. Fish finger sandwiches and chips, bread was fresh and overall the meal was fab.If going for food I'd recommend booking, it got busy quickly on a Saturday lunchtime.

Good pud serving good local beers. Good reasonably priced, quick service and friendly staff. Lots of outside seating next to the river, I would think it would get busy on sunny days

Fabulous spot on the river, a seal even decided to do his fishing right by where we sat. Fabulous meal as always, great portion sizes and friendly staff. The interior is well decorated with that modern twist, a fabulous spot for lunch.

Nice pub in a lovely location,food was good, but my gluten free fish and chip order was overlooked!, when it finally arrived the fish was crumbled over the top of the chips and peas! Apparently a problem getting it out of the pan because of lack of batter!

Visited twice and had great food both times. Steak burger and thai green curry recommended for sure. Two of my family members also said the Ham hock pie was delicious.Really nice and peaceful outside to have a drink. Friendly and attentive staff also.Superb pub.

Probably the nicest gastropub I've been to in my life. Peaceful atmosphere, clean seating and tables, nice staff. Food might be a bit pricey but it's worth it.

We organised our late father's wake at the Steam Packet and I am so glad we did. The room and view was lovely and the food and service was just excellent. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you to all the staff for making the occasion go so well.

We stayed overnight and also had a meal. The food was delicious and the portions soooo big. Very good value for money. The room was really lovely too - clean, modern decoration, everything you could need. The people staying above us were rather noisy which was the only slight negative and not the fault of the pub. Location was fantastic and Totnes was beautiful. Staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful location, friendly staff. The food is plentiful pub grub but is on the expensive side I felt. For instance, my crab sandwich was packed, but not with white meat so the price seemed high.
