Great service, delicious food and smashing view . We came here last year with friends and really enjoyed it and second time around we were not disappointed. Absolutely lovely.

This our favourite restaurant and we have visited when in the area for the past 18 years. Pauline and Peter deserve all the praise in personalising the experience and quality of food and atmosphere. Covid has restricted our visits over the past two years and we were disappointed that they are closed to evenings only and maybe retiring. Hope to get there again soon and have one of our favourites Dover SoleBrian and Mary Coxall

Decent cookery, good service, prices are a little ambitious but reflect the intricate nature / lack of table turnover / one sitting for evening covers. Overall decent

Absolutely divine!! From the olives, the soup, prawns, the bread, the skinny chips even!! Gorgeous interior, fab view and friendly professional staff! Compliments to the chef too!!

Very lovely dining area, staff were very helpful and friendly. The waiting time was very short and fast service. Standard of food was also really great, all around really lovely place.

September 2020 when we visited everything was top class. Lobster was great and the fish dishes were served with scallops. 5 stars!!!! We all loved it and one of the main reasons we came back to Dartmouth.Unfortunately September 2021 and no lobster and the fish dishes were served with no scallops and it seemed a lot more basic food, but prices remained the same. No where near as good although I did enjoy my steak. The duck and lamb my family had wasn't great.

Lovely food, bit expensive but good quality. I had fillet mignon very tasty, but too large a portion for me to eat, don't like waste, would be great if they did two sizes.

We were visiting the area and booked before attending.What a great place to eat.We were met by staff and couple of covid checks and then taken upstairs the decor was very grown up.Staff were friendly,professional and social distancing was used were possible.The food was great but possibly a little expensive but the experience was great.We both had the crab which was great and piping hot though the portion was quite big we both had difficulty finishing it.My partner had fillet mignon and he said it was beautiful and I had the lobster again was beautiful. Sadly we didn't have room for dessert. Would go again if in area.

We were impressed by the prompt friendly service. The food was exquisite and beautifully presented. It’s a small and expensive restaurant so for special occasions (most of the tables were there for a birthday). Also well situated with an impressive view of the river Dart. 10% recommended!
