Friendly staff, and great food at reasonable prices. Visited with family and will definitely go again.

Really nice inside. Super friendly staff and great food. Been for Sunday lunch a couple of times now and even though it’s a bit out of the way for us we will keep going.

Absolutely excellent service, hospitality, food, drink and ambience. The Anchor Inn is a star 🌟 shining brightly in the small village of Ugborough. The sharing seafood platter starter we enjoyed was divine, the main courses were equally as scrumptious and the waiter was soooo helpful and courteous- nothing was too much for him....The landlady is friendly, efficient and also soooo helpful. We can highly recommend this place!

The food was incredible - the steak and chorizo burger is one of the best burgers around! We asked for the recipe for the chutney, but while the chef couldn’t reveal it he generously offered us some to take home. If only we were staying here longer so we could come back again!

Beautiful little village, room was adorable. Tom is the loveliest person and the reason for this review! He catered to our every need and even ensured a vegan breakfast for us! Outdoor area is fantastic. Have to be quick to grab a parking space but plenty out the front if not. Loved it and will be back again with our pooch!

Made to feel very welcome by Annie. Felt very Covid safe, the bar area is lovely and the service excellent. Menu looks fab, so we've booked a table later in the week. Lovely location and pub 🙂.

A really nice Inn in the tiny village of Ugborough in the South Hams. Comfortable rooms, super freshly prepared food, wonderful service all make this a delightful place to stay/eat/drink.The courtyard gets afternoon and evening sun and is therefore a nice place to sit.Tom, the manager can't do enough for his guests and makes the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable.Whether it's dinner or breakfast, the food was excellent. Locally sourced and freshly prepared.Overall this was a lovely stay.
