A very friendly atmosphere. A warm welcome and dogs were welcome with open arms. Even the local punters were friendly. There's a cosy nook for a quiet drink where you can play a board game or read a book. Open fireplace, cosy armchairs and a piano which loves to be played. A family atmosphere and great food at a reasonable price. The Cornwood Inn is the heart of the community where the staff like to include the old and young a like.Looking forward to Open mic nights!

Just chanced upon this place whilst scouting a walk on Dartmoor. Very friendly staff, immaculately clean, lovely roast lunch. Also welcoming notices ( wellies, dogs, families welcome, please use car park for school drop off etc). Recommended

Superb from start to finish. A wonderfully warm and friendly atmosphere. Food was delicious- brie with almonds and honey to start a favourite and the chocolate icecream bomb with warm chocolate sauce. Wow!

Brilliant night out with friends we've hardly seen for 3 years. The food was fantastic & the Christmas & community spirit of the place were amazing! Thanks for such a wonderful Christmas party night to all involved. We will be returning!

A popular venue, so booking a table would be worth it. The place has a mix of modern and retro. Friendly staff, good menu at sensible prices. We had the ham, egg and chips, very tasty. Large car park.

After driving round looking for a place that was open ( and still serving at 1340), we found our local was open. Fabulous food, good atmosphere, friendly people. Can recommend.

The Cornwood Inn is one of the best pubs around. The staff are amazing and friendly. The food is super yummy and it has such a lovely feel to it. I feel very lucky to have such a fab local pub!
