The Cott Inn Restaurant in South Hams

We have had the pleasure of dinning at The Cott Inn twice over the last 3 months and have been super impressed with the attention to detail the business operates. Every course of food for all of our guests were always perfectly cooked and the level of service has been to another level. It is clear the team love pleasing their guests which puts me at ease when booking for my company. We stayed overnight and the rooms were professional, comfortable and clean. I’m already scheduling my next visit and would recommend them as a 5 out of 5 star venue. Thank you to all the team for their hard work and desire to please.

We ate here tonight for the first time and will definitely be back. Absolutely stunning food with an excellent warm & friendly service. Dog/child friendly & packed full of character, made for a great atmosphere. If only all pubs could do it this well. Top marks guys!

Best pub restaurant in the area, super good menu with loads of veggie/vegan options. Service 5/5, ambience 5/5. Also has a good selection of ales, very well run and very friendly, has a lot of good ingredients - worth a detour

Beautiful pub in a lovely area with very friendly and welcoming staff. I stayed overnight as I was working nearby. The room was clean and well decorated and the food was amazing. A wonderful experience.

First visit to this pub for lunch with friends, not too busy.Warm, friendly welcome from the staff, left to look at the menu and decide on our selection for lunch. Very good menu with lots of choices.Decided on the Beef bourgigion, clam chowder and burger, all very tasty, good size portions. No room for desert unfortunately.Good value for money. We will definitely visit again.

One of the best steaks I've ever had! I had the rather expensive steak with blue cheese sauce and my wife had the same with the pepper sauce. While I absolutely loved mine, my wife liked hers but wasn't sure if it was worth 27 pounds.

Really lovely traditional pub with friendly, helpful staff and excellent food. Highly recommend, will return as the panna cotta was amazing! My only negative would be not enough chicken/pork options for someone who doesn't eat fish or much red meat.

Well. The Cott Inn. We have been last summer and decided to go again last weekend. I can honestly say...delicious well presented food. Extremely tasty very high standard and very good service. The food was piping hot even though the kitchen is a good distance from where we were sat outside because of the restrictions. It was explained to us at time of ordering there would be a wait as there were 80 people being served inside and 30 more outside. I like to be informed. All in all a 10+ out of 10. Well done guts and thank you again for a great meal at a price that I would expect for such good quality and taste..See you again before long

We spent a lovely afternoon in the Cott Inn - we were 3 hours early for our table because of the terrible weather and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. The food was great, recommend the breaded Camembert and chilli jam! Will, our waiter was really knowledgeable and friendly.
