What a great place this is! Our 6th year here and it just gets better and better. Delicious food - fish stew, fajitas and pizzas were all our favourites. The staff are fantastic and can’t do enough for you! And the view from the balcony is lovely! Can’t wait to come back next year!

WOW is all I can say. It doesn't look all that much from the outside, but don't be fooled, inside is clean and cosy, and these are some properly impressive burgers, great quality meat with perfectly balanced flavours and tasty sides. Also the staff are lovely and the place is dog friendly, so it ticked all our boxes!

Delicious food and you get a lot for your money. Service was good and nice to see that all food was locally sourced.

This is a lively bistro offering a selection of well presented and tasty meals that are made with locally sourced products. There is also a good choice of local beers and ciders. There are vegan options too. The people are friendly and efficient. Will definitely come again.

Located just off the beach. Dog friendly. Friendly welcoming staff. Nice otter ale. Good coffee. Only minor gripe was curry sauce for me needs to be a bit thicker, however I'm told that locally people pour their chips into the sauce rather than vice versa so that may explain why .Overall a really nice spot with good outdoors space

We have heard great things, but visited for the first time today for lunch. We came with our 8 month old, which is always a bit stressful, but the staff were fantastic and conjured a high chair for us- they couldn't have been more helpful. Food was delicious, and I highly recommend the calamari. We will be back (maybe without the baby as they had a good selection of beers I would like to make my way through)

The Cove is one of two main restaurants that sits on the beach front in Hope Cove. My friend seasonally worked at The Cove during her time at university more than five years ago and to think that five years later a restaurant serves food just as good as someone can recall is deserving of applause. We stayed in Hope Cove for four days and every day be it morning or evening the restaurant was flying orders to tables or to takeaway. The fun loving atmosphere is enjoyable and makes the waiting time all the while. We ordered a lot so let me take you through the list: Pizza seven - arguably one of the best goats cheese pizzas I have tried; Calamari - lightly battered and so good we ordered it on both visits to the restaurant; Padron peppers - chargrilled and oozing with garlic flavour; Moules - cleverly served in the pot so they were steaming hot and packed with flavour; Chicken burger (minus the pineapple with added bacon) - meaty and cheesy offering a classic combination; and lastly Mac ‘n’ Cheese - indulgently creamy just as you would want it.Across all restaurants we visited, this is my first choice!

This place was very busy mainly due to the remote location and non booking system. The staff managed customers well and we didn't have to wait long to be seated. The food is priced according to the location but similar to any other pizza restaurants. The pizzas and sides were excellent, all home made which can be seen from the restaurant. There's a good selection of drinks available and good view of the bay if you can get a seat outside. I would definitely recommend. There is limited/ no parking from what I can see but there is a large public carpark nearby so don't have to worry too much about parking.

Great atmosphere and an amazing selection of craft beers. Pizzas were not the best I’ve ever had but it was good overall and the kids loved it. The nachos were 👌 and the view from the upper deck at sunset was amazing.

Nice place for a quick drink or food. There was a bit of a wait to get in and to order drinks but staff was very friendly. Great view from the top floor terrace (be aware that only the bar menu is served here, the restaurant menu is only served downstairs) - can recommend the pizza, Mac 'n' Cheese was okay.
