The Crabshell Inn in South Hams

Reliably good food, and the views aren’t too shabby either ☺️! We go to Devon quite often, and always make time to stop off for some food and a drink. Well worth a visit. Recently we had the seafood platter, pricey, but in truth it’s worth every penny given we walked away absolutely stuffed and it was soo tasty.

Riverside pub serving superb food, wines and beers. Fantastic setting looking down the estuary towards Salcombe. Limited immediate parking but large car park nearby at £1 for 3 hours. Simon and his fantastic employees ensure that you are happy. Strong but not intrusive attention to detail. They also provide take-away. Yum!

This place is such a hidden Gem! We came across not really expecting much at all, myself my girlfriend and our two big dogs had a great time sitting outside. Looking over the river with some fantastic service, good beer and amazing food. We have just a cod and chips with curry sauce mushy peas. The seafood chowder and then crispy calamari bites!I would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting or living here that has not yet tried it!

Fantastic pizza, friendly staff and a great setting.Didn't try other dishes but everything being brought out to the other tables looked impressive.Great selection of beers and bar snacks and a deli onsite.Dogs welcome too.

Beautiful restaurant to go to and sit outside for a few beers or some food! Great view of the river and the service was brilliant. It was also great sitting upstairs and looking over the river whilst we were eating our dinner. The menu had a massive selection of great food and also did brilliant takeaway pizzas!

Lovely outdoor seating area right on the river, so lovely views, and indoor seating too.Food was amazing, I had the mussels which were fresh and delicious. Friendly staff. Great location, wonderful food!We will be going back. Definitely recommended.

Nice sea food restaurant, bar & deli.Very trendy. Good selection of fish dishes. Great service. Nice location with views of the estuary as next to the water. Seating inside & out. Dog friendly.

I’ve just had THE best short rib I’ve ever had. Every mouthful was nomnom 🤤 beautiful. Kids loved their pizzas. And let’s be honest when you order a kids burger we all know it’s going to awful but here the kids burger was fab! Highly recommend this establishment 👍

Lovely place with a brilliant view next to the estuary. Warm,with a real fire going and light and airy surroundings.we had three different meals that were lovely and fresh with good service at reasonable prices.will go again.vefy much an outdoors establishment with patios and verandas.

We came on a chilly day but we still sat outside under the porch & had one of the best hot chocolate drinks we've had, food did look good, but we arrived for 11is. The young man who served us was polite and very quick, i can see why it's been recommended, will try food at some stage 😀
