Definitely worth a visit. The food was nice and the staff were friendly and welcoming. If I’m in Kingsbridge again I will be back that’s for sure.

It took an hour and a half to receive half a dozen breakfast baps that we ordered over the phone for collection. Most of the orders were wrong. Mine came with an under cooked hash brown that I didn't ask for. The rest of it was covered in oil and cold. My bap was also 2 top sections. The cooks looked like school leavers.

Quality of food was amazing, prices are reasonable, staff are incredibly friendly. They made 1 error with our food which was dealt with immediately and they gave a free drink to compensate which was extremely kind and went a long way. Will definitely be coming back, it’s a must-visit for anyone on holiday in and around Kingsbridge.

Young Barman needs to be more alertive, and not stand back as much as be does leaving everything to those who know what they're doing.Outside is grubby . Needs to be sweept and cleared regularly. Food 5/10

Great place to stop for a coffee and cake when cycling around south Devon

Though in an ideal location...management weak and duplicitous....standards of produce have fallen dramatically.staff turnover worrying.few core, long term staff are wonderfull but overworked! Resulting in very long waits for meals......which are often below par and overpriced for such processed food! Think it's time for New and enthusiastic management who have the energy to return this great venue into the quality place it used to be,without cost cutting to current extent! More local produce and skilled chefs are required. Have witnessed a lot of dissatisfaction and visitors saying " never again!".

Stopped here for a cream tea and a pint. Staff were friendly and the food and drink were fine. It was quiet at the time and didn't order any hot food so came quite quickly. The pub is located next to the large public car park in Kingsbridge so very accessible.

Visited on the 3rd of August. Don't know the area so went off the TripAdvisor reviews which were quite good. Prebooked week in advance. We were sat outside and told there were no seats available inside. We were about to leave as didn't want children to seat next to table who smoked heavily. Then magically there was table inside available.Waiting long time for our meal wouldn't be a problem but what we received wasn't worth waiting for. Average burger, ok-ish hot dog still Ok, wouldn't write review over that. Worst of all was tiny piece of overcooked chicken smothered with packet sauce accompanied by soggy, watery vegetables. As nobody checked on our meal we paid and I left hungry. When paying I received comment 'it's normally well received dish'. Offer of refund was made but If I had at least chance to order something edible instead I wouldn't be writing this review.

Busy lunchtime, so not somewhere if you are in a hurry. Pleasant surroundings, very close to the carpark. The food was good, Sorry about the pictures, we had already started when we remembered, but it was so appetising that we could not wait.We will go there again when we next visit Kingsbridge
