Good visit..easy to park in street. Good value Sunday Lunch, very popular need to book..Could do with some attention to the eating, drinking area outside. scruffy and untidy... Good attentive staff. Will visit again..

The quality and quantity of food provided was, as always, good and at a reasonable price. Never had a problem eating here.However, tonight I noticed at least two pieces of A4 paper emblazoned with a blue and yellow logo. This proclaimed that, after receiving inform...ation from their supplier, the proprietors were now sourcing their fish from a Plymouth fishing boat. This, of course, is something to be applauded and encouraged. It's just a shame that it took a conflict in a foreign land for the licensee to consider the livelihoods of those who risk their lives daily to supply him.......

Booked late, they squeezed us in at the end of service. The staff were lovely, they didn't rush us, despite it being the end of their shift. We had a lovely roast, the food and service were very good. Smashing team at this family friendly pub.

Superb food, good menu choice, good range of quality beers, staff friendly and accommodating, even when very busy.

Great friendly, warm, welcoming traditional pub. Excellent food, superb choices to drink and even a dartboard. In the winter there is a real log fire burning and great local spirit. In the warmer months they even offer stone baked pizzas cooked freshly in their stone baked oven in the beer garden. What more could one want. Cheers

Had a Sunday roast and it was fabulous! The staff were great and the service was, possibly a little slow but it's a village pub, friendly, personable and really lovely. For a village pub, a cracking meal at reasonable prices and well worth a visit!

Lovely pub, staff are very welcoming, food is excellent and great choice of wine, beer and gin! Go early or booking is essential especially at weekends.

Enjoyed our meal ... first time visit here, so much so we called in again, however this time was very much disappointed, the lasagne was what can I say a bowl of mush, stodgy mushy pasta with hardly any meat to be told that's how it's always made!!! To be fair I was offered a drink but we were only staying for the one so declined, not offered a reimbursement so paid full price for a meal not eaten, not the best customer service we've had.
