Delightful community run pub. Doesn't have all the "flash and trappings" of a Brewery backed place, but all the better for it in my opinion. Various levels for tables and seating plus a large beer garden with nice views over the bay. Menu choice was limited on my visit but the food arrived in reasonable time and was well prepared and presented. Staff were friendly and attentive. Added bonus of a decent sized car park just 50yds up the road.

Amazing views, great local beer, had a fantastic very generous Sunday lunch and the staff were superb. And it's a community owned village pub. Something to cherish.

Have driven past loads of times over the years but never gone in. Then Easter weekend a fair few of our family were staying in Dartmouth and Torcross so decided to give them ring and see if they could fit is in. Even though we had to have tables on different levels it was lovely. The view over the rear garden toward the sea was stunning. The staff were really friendly and cheery. Our food was absolutely lovely (few more chips would of been good though lol) cooked to perfection and well presented. Well done everyone in the community for taking this venture on, we're sure you've made it work! We'll definitely be back again when in the area.

Dropped in here on the off-chance of a Sunday lunch and was pleased that they could accommodate us, and our cat.The staff were all extremely pleasant and friendly. We ordered the Sunday roast and I had a nut roast (a classic vegetarian option that I haven't had for a long time because it became passΓ©).The nut roast was absolutely exceptional. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and the nut roast was light, tasty, and moist. The beef roast dinner was equally well presented and cooked, with enough beef to satisfy both cat and human.I can't recommend this place enough. It is rare to find a place to eat as a vegetarian that offers vegetarian options as good as the meat-eating options. Well done and thanks!Since then, we decided to try here for a Saturday lunch. Unfortunately, the menu is a bit restricted, offering a few meaty light bites, jacket potatoes or sandwiches. But again, the offering was good value and well cooked. The staff were friendly and helpful and made the cat feel more than welcome!

Best sweet potato fries ever. We really enjoyed our meals here. I had the halloumi burger which was very nice. And the sweet potato fries that came with were amazing. Soft inside crispy on the outside β just what you want. A bit of a view if you sit outside and they are dog friendly.
