Well if you want a pub that is drenched in old world charm, low ceilings, a busy bar, lovely staff and traditional food well cooked, you've got it at The Pigs Nose. There's also a seating area outside on the village green.

Very friendly and local, authentic pub with delicious homemade food. The interior is also very interesting and quirky!

On a blustery sunny February day and despite the gps attempting to take us to Timbuktuwe, eventually, met up with friends for lunch at the Pigs Nose East Prawle. If you are not driving, they have some good local ales. I recommend you book a table, as it can get busy, especially in the holiday periods. Courteous, friendly staff who genuinely looked after our quite specific dietary needs. Good old-fashioned pub food which actually was a delight. Well behaved dogs welcomed as well. If you plan to eat their, starve yourself for a couple of days before you go - there will be plenty.

We booked for an early dinner following a recommendation from a friend. Didn’t enjoy the experience. Food was ok but nothing special. Atmosphere (even allowing for it being early) was non existent. Beer (Estrella) was flat we had to keep pouring it from glass to glass to give it any head! This was our last night in the area so leave with a feeling of disappointment.

Very friendly 'proper' characterful pub. Good range of draft beers and tasty food from a fixed menu + specials. Dogs welcome. Definitely worth seeking out

We came across this interesting little establishment while tracking through the moor and had a nice coffee and some delicious cider! We loved the old photographs and maps on the wall and the birdbook for birdwatchers!!

A gem of a pub ! It's worth going to the end of the world to find it. Excellent local beer , best fish n chips and a brillant music venue in the barn next to the pub , new out door covered space highly recommended 👌

Great atmosphere with a good local beer selection. The hardworking staff were welcoming and friendly. The food and service was superb with a vegetarian selection. Dog friendly too, we'll be back!

Great pints, and really friendly service.Love being able to sit out on the green at all the picnic tables, but would have been just as happy inside as the decor is beautifully old.Only stopped for a couple of drinks after a walk along the coast in the area. And glad that we did.Very pleasantly surprised to find that the drinks were so reasonable in price for such a popular spot!

Been here a few times in the past 5 years. Always a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Full of character and charm. Good drinks selection. We are here today, Friday evening, really good menu. Made it a difficult decision. 4 of us are, all had something different. None of us disappointed. The food was really good. Great quality fresh ingredients, well cooked. Sticky toffee pudding was delicious too! Would recommend for a drink and worth hanging around to have food too!
