Called in for a family lunch today, great atmosphere, very friendly, good range of drinks. The food was second to none, absolutely superb home cooked fare at a very reasonable cost

Amazing pub. Amazing food. Amazing beer. We come here a couple of times a year and it’s always on our list. Staff are all friendly and a good mix of visitors and great locals.

Great community pub with excellent food and drink. Fantastic views and a small kids playground. Well worth a visit if you're visiting Blackpool or Slapton sands.

A warm welcome awaits you at this lovely little pub. Great food, good selection of beers, wines & spirits and a very friendly atmosphere make it a special place to visit. The decor is that of a proper old style hostelry with a large fireplace, lots of brass and historic photographs of the area. It's the place the locals gather so can get quite lively, which adds to the ambiance. In the evenings it opens at 5.30pm and you are urged to get there early as it fills up quickly. Visit this pub, you will not be disappointed.

We called here for a coffee. Two hours later we left. Service was natural, helpful and friendly. The beer garden was an amazing oasis to sit and chill.The food was absolutely awesome and such reasonable prices. Would definitely visit again.

Absolutely stunning food! A raretity in the UK to find a pub that hasn't been destroyed by being modernised. Love this place! Reasonably priced, fresh food and drinks proper pub grub! Love the fact you can take the dogs too will be back next year! Wish this was our local

Lovely traditional food and child friendly... really enjoyed the food. Sat in the garden to eat (there are 3) and enjoyed a pint in the sun.
