The Riverford Field Kitchen in South Hams

Myself and my partner came for Sunday lunch. I cannot fault the Field Kitchen, the service; supreme, friendly, jolly, organised and efficient. The food, earthy, delicious, clean and perfectly cooked. Organic and I assume all produced, grown etc on site. What a wonderful example of eating out. Possibly the best meal out I have ever had. We will return and I very much hope this model is here to stay without compromise. Keep it up Riverford your staff do you credit. X

Our first dining experience at Riverford Field Kitchen was so good that we've already booked to come again.Excellent service, exceptional food and a beautiful setting. The menu was amazing and I love the fact that they choose what you eat. They also made amendments for me allergies which was great.

Had an amazing lunch at this lovely venue. Food was really interesting and SO tasty and the staff were really helpful Also ,the building, with its curved glue laminated beams and large glass areas added to a very lovely experience. We felt very "covid safe" with tables spaced well out and staff wearing masks at all times

What a wonderful experience! The food, the building, the design, the service... eveything was fabulous! Just the dessert was, to my personal opinion, not so attractive. Nevertheless Riveford Field Kitchen will always be a beloved place to go.

I fully enjoyed my experience at Riverford Field Kitchen. The company was brilliant, and the tasty menu was absolutely fantastic.

A very nice spot to eat and well worth going out your way to visit. The majority of the dishes are things grown on their own grounds or sourced locally, virtually all organic. The food was fresh, tasty and unique. The location is really very pretty and the staff are all extremely friendly. What was really nice was after the meal, you are allowed to wonder the grounds, visit their greenhouse and gardens to see where your meal came from. Exceptional value for money given the work and ingredients. Highly recommended.

Being a meat lover, I have to say the vegetable dishes were simply awesome with great care and presentation. The flavours were perfectly balanced. Also very impressed with the dessert options. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere and surroundings have been very well thought-out. Overall great dining experience.

As a Riverford Veg box customer it's been on my bucket list to visit the Field Kitchen for a while now. Even though we arrived in a torrential rainstorm for Sunday lunch the experience was still amazing. The imaginative veg centric dishes were delicious. The thought and entire ethos behind the entire experience were much appreciated. Lovely service and look forward to making the journey down again in the future, just hopefully with some sun next time.

Farm to fork concept with delicious veggie focused dishes all with a reasonably priced set menu. We enjoyed every dish and would definitely recommend. Book ahead and arrive early to walk around the farm. Bundle up for supper as there is no outdoor heating.
