Do you remember what a good old fashioned fish cake tastes like ? The homemade ones from here are in my opinion the best EVER. It would probably surprise anyone to 'rave' about a fish cake. Great honest ingredients with a crumb outside with just the hint of pepperyness.And friendly staff too. Thanks to all of you. 👍

Very tasty, good value and friendly service.

Decent local chippy, the chips are better than the fish.My only suggestion is they use a different wrapping on the chips as every time I get it home the paper is so thin it is stuck to the chips and I have to use a knife to cut the side off some chips.

Amazing fish and Chips tonight from the silver grill, enjoyed them sat next to the River Dart on vire island.

Proberly the worst fish and chips my Family and I have ever had. Went in around 5ish today, got 2 cods and 2 haddock. All fish tough and batter soggy. The Girl serving us said they only had standard fish left. I believe they wanted to get rid of these before they cooked fresh. The chips were disgusting, soggy, not cooked and all stuck together like glue.We're on holiday and go home in the morning. We come to the area a lot and when I return I will go in there and tell them what I think.I will not recommend them and certainly not use them either.Others please stay away.Jay. SUSSEX

The food was lovely but be warned the portions are huge. We ordered a small fish and chips and a medium one and we both could of shared the small portion.

The Best Fish and Chip Around. Have been eating from them for well over a decade. Staff are friendly, chips are consistently great. 10/10

Love a bit of sausage and of course lovely fish and chips 🍟 big up for the Leicester lads great value for money. Highly recommended by me and jen and the locals. My fluff cat 🙀 really loved the haddock.. Seriously though excellent.

Really nice fish and chips. Fish is fresh and you have choice of the fish. Staff is also really nice. Will come back :)
