Absolutely perfect. My sister called very last minute yesterday afternoon hoping to get us a table and we were welcomed with open arms, we were greeted by a very friendly young waiter on arrival who seated us upstairs, the restaurant was immaculate and extremely clean even though they had already completed a busy lunch service. The staff were very attentive and extremely friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this lovely quaint village pub we will return for sure if we are ever in the area again.

Went for Sunday lunch and the food was exceptional. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a lovely atmosphere, fantastic food, and very attentive service. Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior - it's definitely worth a visit! We will 100% be back (many times I'm sure!)

Party of 4 for Sunday roast. While there was a slight wait for the food to arrive, it was worth the wait. Meal was excellent and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend to stop here especially over the festive period

Fantastic local pub offering calming settings with a menu and staff to be proud of.We were really looked after by the hostess with most-ess. My daughter has lots of food allergies and they catered for her extremely well, she was spoken to beautifully by the hostess and she has really got her confidence back in eating out after several bad experiences. The food was superb and we will be in a hurry to return, thanks to all at the Treby for making it such a positive experience.

They didn't get my order right (cooked medium rare, no seasoning) but what they did bring me was delicious - a sentiment echoed by the rest of my table. In addition, while service was slow, the young lady who mostly attended us was cheerful, attentive and happy to answer even my stupidest questions. Absolutely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

Members of my family & I had lunch at the Treby today having eaten there about 4 years ago. We enjoyed the food on that occasion, and thought it may be a good idea to go today. Unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. On the plus side the wine was nice enough, as was the music, even the waitress was great, but oh dear the food. It was unbelievably bad, even describing it as mediocre was too much praise. We decided to forego the desert and had coffee, even that I didn’t drink. This disaster cost me over £150.When I returned home I called my son who is a successful chef and restaurant proprietor of many years standing. His first questions was “ Dad did you tell them how bad you thought it was “ the answer was no. What could I have said, what could they have said or done ? Clearly many folk think it’s good enough, but we thought it was awful. There are many fine eating establishments not too far from the Treby where one could have eaten great food for the same cost, next time I take out friends or family for lunch I will go to one of them.

Never disappoints with a unique and well put together menu. The only thing we would change would be the party/pop music in the background as it did not fit with the ambiance. However, this did not hinder our visit as the food was fantastic as always.

The Treby Arms has undergone a renovation & is under new management. I popped in for Sunday lunch and had the calamari, mushroom bruschetta, prawn & crayfish spaghetti & the roast belly pork. All of the food was delicious. The service was spot on & I love the new look to the place.I really hope the locals make the most of the changes & this place stays the test of time.I’m looking forward to my next visit to Sparkwell as I will definitely be coming here to try more of the menu
