The Turtley Corn Mill in South Hams

Lovely setting and very attentive and friendly service. We had nachos and the prawn and mango salad to start and both were very good. The mains of the salmon loin, steak burger and the scallop and salmon skewer were all nicely cooked - if I'm being overly critical the scallops were ever so slightly over cooked, but the salmon was absolutely spot on and the balance of timing for those to both be 100% is incredibly tricky, so happy with it overall.

I have just come home from a fantastic meal. It was so good it was the first thing I wanted to do.The staff were Brilliant, very warm welcome. Food amazing. Ambience was great. Booking was easy and responses quick to requests by email. Lovely setting! Staff were friendly and pleasant and obviously well trained. Food was excellent though a little pricey but worth every penny. Coming back soon!!

Great setting and lovely decorUnfortunately the food isn't up to the price and settingsI had a burger which cost £17.50 or £16.50.The bap was dry and not toasted so think maybe a little stale the bacon was so over cooked not cripsy just dry, the burger was very over cooked to the point not even a drop of juice came out.Inside burger was mixed leaf salad not iceberg and 2 slices of tomatoesI took 1 bite and asked for sauce and mayo to add to the burger as no sauce withinOnce added it was still to dry to eat so I hid under my napkin and eat the chips only which they were very nice.

We have been going here ever since its opening week circa 2004. And amazingly, we have never had a bad meal here.The food is freshly cooked & there is always a great selection of dishes for both carnivores & vegetarians.Beautiful setting with a garden & pond where many birds roam about. They also have resident peacocks.Friendly staff are always happy to help.NB At time of posting, payments are only accepted by card not cash.

Friendly service, warm and welcoming atmosphere and good food from a menu that includes a number of veggie options. Reasonable value and dog friendly. Would recommend.

What a lovely place. so homely and inviting that goes for the staff too. Food was delicious! really broad menu with exciting dishes. The rooms were cozy, we both loved the bed. Ground were amazing with peacocks roaming! I am only annoyed we couldn't have stayed longer. Kindest, Moscovy x

Lovely food, we took our 2 year old Grandson for lunch. Although there is no children's menu, they offer child size portions of certain meals. He went for sausage and mash and loved it! Great place for a treat, priced as a nice restaurant would be, worth it!

Good food, pleasant atmosphere. Well behaved dogs are allowed in the bar seating area. We enjoyed it. Our only complaint is that Gluten-free options were a little limited, but there were some options.

Lovely lunch, the menu was amazing with a range of delicious choices. Our table was perfect, we all felt very relaxed and enjoyed our food very much. The staff were friendly and very helpful as always. Turtley Corn Mill is a very special place x
