Twenty Seven by Jamie Rogers in South Hams

An absolute gem! We had the four course tasting menu with canapés to start. Each course was expertly crafted both in flavour and presentation. My favourite dishes were the creative canapés (especially the Creedy Carver Duck Cigar), lobster ravioli and lemon meringue tart. We can’t wait to return.

Attended this fantastic local find last night to celebrate my anniversary. Claire and the service team were fantastic and the food is out of this world!This as my first fine dining experience is one that I will never forget. The tasting menu was perfect offering a journey of taste to excite and tantalise our palates. The wait between courses offers a good amount of time to reflect on the previously consumed food and allows time to anticipate the next meal.The servers are knowledgable, professional and offer a top class service, my thanks goes out to them for making our night so delightful.An absolute must for a fine dining experience. Thank you all so much. We cannot wait to return. 💕

Really liked it here. We had the 6 course taste of spring menu and it was just great. We took my family who had never been to anywhere doing a tasting menu before and they absolutely loved it too. Not as polished as some of the places we've eaten but it'll get there I'm sure. Definitely worth a try of you're in the area

Last night after meaning to go forever we finally went to Twenty_seven by Jamie Rogers in Kingsbridge and all I can say is a very loud and heartfelt -“DIVINE”.Jamie’s food sits somewhere between witchcraft, wonder, art and love. It is quite simply sensational. 👨‍🍳Jamie and his gorgeous staff were welcoming, friendly and fun. Thanks to Jamie’s talent and generosity we were full to the brim when we got back to Tanpits and smiling like Cheshire Cats who had very certainly got the cream. 😀It really was Love at First Bite. We’ll definitely be going back. We can’t recommend it enough. Food and talent doesn’t get much better than this.Thank you Chef.Alexis and Pete.

We came upon 27 by accident, looking for lunch and what a find! It was the best food we’ve had in ages. We don’t often do Michelin star restaurants but this compares to those we have visited. Every course was a real treat.

Had dinner for 6 tonight and it was fantastic. The food was wonderful, we had the 4 course meal and every course was delightful. The service was also excellent. We had a relaxed and unhurried evening and will go back and highly recommend it.

Absolutely superb food - not only are you eating with your eyes (see pics), the aromas and explosions of flavour were mind blowing. We will be back to try all the dishes we missed.

Wow, what a find!!We were staying in Salcombe and had looked for somewhere exceptional to eat to celebrate our 50th birthdays knowing that we are generally underwhelmed with most places that claim to be really good.Jamie's food and his partner's hospitality were truly outstanding.We chose the full tasting menu and were not disappointed.Jamie produced course after course of stunning food with exceptional flavours and presentation.The pace of the meal was well judged and were looked after so well by Jamie's partner and all of their staff.We have eaten in some of the world's very best restaurants and this was right up there with the best.I cannot recommend Twenty Seven highly enough - a must visit and we will certainly be back.Thank you for a memorable evening.

Imaginative food, which at its best is very good indeed. I had a particularly delicious banana and passion fruit soufflé. But some of the dishes didn't deliver on expectations and the service sometimes struggled. Also the wine list was disappointing for a restaurant with these aspirations, partly because they run out of too many of the wines.

Had an amazing, fine dining experience here. We booked as a treat and because they had a specific vegetarian tasting menu - it didn't disappoint! Such delicious food with lots of variety. An enjoyable experience all round!
