Valley View Cafe in South Hams

Had a great fathers day breakfast with my wife and two wonderful daughters. great food, great service and great price.(I didn't pay)!

Lovely Pasties made on the premises. Very friendly staff. Would definitely visit again.Garden Centre is well kept. Didn't see one bad specimen.

Lovely spot with a great menu. Food is fantastic tasting and the portions are a good size too. Make sure to try some cake too.

Delicious breakfast! My husband had the large cooked breakfast and it was not at all greasy, really fresh and the sausages, bacon and eggs were to die for! I did order one of their Freakshakes with all the toppings on but all that came was a normal chocolate milkshake and it was pretty watery and tasteless, I did mention it but the staff didnt correct it or come back to the table. They were very busy so we didn't want to make a fuss! Would still recommend, food was amazing!

Beautiful little cafe with gorgeous views. I saw someone review the cafe on TikTok and put it on our to do list. After a trip to the coast we were looking for somewhere to eat and just happened to pass by accident. Very reasonably priced, we only opted for a ploughman’s sandwiches each which were lovely followed by cake. But every meal that came out to be served looked absolutely delicious. Stunning views with outside seating. The staff were very friendly. Well worth a visit.

How have i not eaten here before; knew of the butchers, knew of the cafe - but not until a friend recommended valley view this weekend that we visited.For the money; the lunch we had was well above what the price led us to expect! Our lunch was something else; service was faultless, the whole set up has been very well thought out to comply with current covid regs without making it feel anything other than “normal” and relaxed.We’ll be returning for sure as its only a short trip up the road. Shame i can’t give more than 5*’s.
