So glad we found this place after our usual go to fish restaurant put their prices up too much for basic fish and chips. Here we found welcoming staff, good choice on the menu. Regular portion size fish and chips more than enough for most people in fact we thought it was the large portion. But was told no that’s regular. Best fish we’ve had for ages. We got two meals plus drinks for less than one meal at the other restaurant. We will definitely been returning here on next visit very soon.

I've tried a lot and this is the best fish and chips that I've had. Super succulent and fine fish. Amazing chips. Worth the cost.

Great food, decent portions average price for where it is Dartmouth is not the cheapest but it’s a small seaside town

Sadly despite good safe and prompt service the batter pealed off the fish with the wrapping paper and the chips under the fish were squashed and soggy..a disappointing experience at the end of a great week in gorgeous Dartmouth. We should have stuck with MandS carry out and cook ourselves at the apartment. Or eat the fish and chips in the restaurant itself rather than walk five minutes along the road. From the reviews they must get it better than our experience most of the time.

disappointed 😞, we ordered Cornish Pasties,my partner had three pieces of very chewy meat and myself two pieces of meat, loads of pastry nothing like a typical pastie, I think they need to look at their supplier.Left because it did not taste good .

If you're looking for a fish and chip shop to eat in, this is a great place. There are as many tables as they can fit in, but the tables are quickly turned over when people have left. At the time of going, the table and chairs were disinfected before the next customers sat down.Servers were attentive and quick to take your order. Food came and the fish was delicious...you can certainly tell the difference in the fish between a chip shop near the sea versus a chip shop inland. I had a side portion of curry sauce which was like your normal chip shop curry sauce in texture but seemed quite flavoursome. There are toilet facilities which are a little cramped but they do the job. Was there for 45mins tops, such was the speed of service.

The staff were very friendly even when the place was very crowded for takeout. they seem to deal well under pressure. The chips were soggy and soft that eating them was not pleasant. On the other hand, the fish was nicely fried. The onion rings need more batter.

Fantastic modern fish and chip diner and takeaway. Serves genuine fresh caught fish with really good fresh cut chips. Well worth a visit when you fancy some real fish and chips. Great.

Can't stop returning here. The best fish and chips. Fresh. Hot. Crispy. Scrumptious. And super friendly staff too.

Had the New Zealand Hoki in a brioche bun. It was very decent indeed. The chip restaurant is well presented and popular at meal times so get a seat early like we did. They even had high chairs for the kids and were accommodating.
