Ye Olde Smokey House in South Hams

We had a meal at lunchtime and we were served by Fliss, I have been in the customer service industry for many years and I have to say that the customer service that Fliss gave us was absolutely outstanding, the food was really great as well, love your chips! Thanks for making us feel welcome and for the great experience

Went on a recommendation and wasn't disappointed. We arrived as a family group of 5 4 of us including a child of 10yrs had the roast dinner which was all you could eat and was delicious. The Mother-in-law had lasagne which she cleared as normally doesn't do. She and my partner went on to have desserts mother-in-law sticky toffee pudding and partner a Roulade My son so full from dinner declined a dessert which he normally has Myself and Father-in-law had Rum coffees to finish the meal A good price for 5 persons with food and drinks and coffee's Recommend establishment

Awesome food, great prices and some nice cold beer. Very much enjoyed my sirloin steak rare. Enjoyed a great evening with friends here and staff were very polite and helpful

Staff always attentive and friendly. Good Covid safety measures in place. Great food and atmosphere. Carvery is the best in the Bay.

H carpenter that spent all their time bloody moaning about the service try and spend less time moaning and try being nice by opening your mouth and let the staff know your ready to order they can't always remember how long you've been sat there because they are all working hard horrible people like you do not make for a pleasant evening . The staff are lovely,friendly and work hard the food is good thank you for a nice evening the olde smokey keep it up .

Good pub serving well cooked pub food. A range of menu items plus local caught fish normally up on a board. Portions are generous and the service friendly. Worth booking as it is popular.

Friendly and helpful staff and service. We all had carvery, it was not as great as we have had before, it was lacking in taste and the choice was limited. We were on an afternoon booking on New Year's Day, it felt we were possibly getting what was left. Hopefully this was a temporary blip as we have good memories of the venue.

Appreciate it's Xmas and a few large groups, but waited 1hr and 15 minutes for food.! When it eventually came Food was good tho and hot at least. Very warm inside the room, no windows open either. We asked for the fire door to be left open, which it was for about 5 minutes!Staff were great, very friendly and helpful.
