Really loved the pizzas from here. Friendly local staff, where the Chef has the absolute power to grant or deny a booking, based on the amount remaining dough. Sour-dough Power-dough

We stayed here for a few nights and it was great, the rooms are really well priced, they bring you a cute breakfast to your room with granola and coffee and croissants and orange juice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A real treat, would highly recommend if you are visiting Bruton. The restaurant is absolutely great too, super affordable with a fab wine list

Great location and superb afternoon tea. Getting in on a wheelchair is a bit tricky (because of the narrow pavement outside) but the staff were very helpful

Friendly service. It ends there. Our cocktails were fairly mediocre, my Moscow mule tasted like lime water. Burger overcooked and with a fat slab of tomato in it, under seasoned too. Risotto looked incredible, but again under seasoned and lacking any remote depth of flavour.. ÂŁ60 to be disappointed. Won't be back.

Hugely disappointed that they don’t allow dogs. They have bowls of water and dog treats in their entrance, which makes it look like they are super dog friendly to me.Got some takeaway pastries which were nice, but didn’t get a chance to properly try anything due to the dog policy.Wanted to come back for pizza and cocktails when they eventually reopen in the evening, but won’t be coming back if they don’t allow dogs.

I am inclined to give five stars, but if I could give it six I would, simply for the fact that I passed by early this morning, clearly before was ideal for them, but still staff didn’t hesitate to welcome me in, were very accommodating, efficient and served me up the best latte I’ve had in a long long while. Keep up the good work ATC, thankyou.

WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH . . . time and time again we have given At The Chapel a chance - because they are a small local business and the food is usually good, we wanted them to succeed but the quality of their customer service is sketchy at best - they still owe us a load of money for a really poor meal we had last time we were there. So we checked the website this morning - it says OPEN TODAY (website and google both say "open") and off we trot for an anniversary breakfast treat (15 miles later) and . . . guess what - SHUT with a dishevelled note on their door - the arrogance of this place is beyond belief - what a waste of time - that's it, I have had it with you guys and I sincerely hope that you reap the rewards of your terrible attitude towards your customers - in the end, you simply won't have a business!AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Perfection!Lovely food and staff. They catered so well for my dietary requirements without compromising on quality and taste! Will definitely be back again! Be sure to take away their delicious pastries from the bakery!

Abysmal service. Stood waiting to order a coffee for 5 minutes whilst staff chatted amongst themselves completely blanking me. Eventually I asked if they were still serving coffee, they said yes, then continued to chat to each other. Finally the young lady asked me if I wanted anything and proceeded to serve my ÂŁ4 coffee (more expensive than London) in a dirty cup! Absolutely appalled, will not go back!

One of the best burgers I have ever had... delicious. Having seen the burger when I walked in, it was difficult to resist. There are plenty of posher dishes, but the fries looked and tasted amazing too. Drinks are a bit different... I had a salted chocolate milkshake, which was yummy... and the kids all had wonderful pizzas. Recommended to all... booking is vital, as there isn't masses of tables.
