Fabulous absolutely fabulous. We visited yesterday there was 29 of us.We had the roast lunch, it was wonderful. The staff were polite and attentive, even though they were clearly very busy. The garden is amazing, the children really enjoyed time in the little play area, between courses.Would highly recommendThank you everyone at barley now.You made what was a very special 70th birthday even more memorable. Top job.

Superb farm shop with delicious cakes, pies, meats and ready meals produced themselves, very good prices! Home baking products and a vast assortment of jams, chutneys, and other delicious snackables. There's also a very nice selection of ciders and ales, as well as plants. There's a nice cafe onsite though we didn't make use of it this time, next time though for sure!

The shop was good and offered a wide variety of items. The play area and outdoor seating was good.My only two nitpicks were, 1) there could've been 2/3 more benches outside near the children's play area, and 2) the food we ordered was lovely but didn't have any sauce or dressing with it, which would have made it a perfect lunch!

First time I've been here, I really enjoyed it, the staff were lovely, as was the food, there was a specials board with plenty to choose from as well as on the menu. After, we had a look around the well stocked farm shop (didn't come out empty handed!)

Breakfast very good however it took 30mins to arrive!! Less than 12 people in restaurant and plenty of staff. At least 2 people left because of delay, don’t bother if you are in a hurry

Much improved over the last year with a new layout and the addition of a flower shop. The deli counter has an improved range with many local cheeses as well as a good choice of local pies, meats and many other deli staples. The butchery section is as good as ever with choice cuts of local meat. Excellent cafe on site. This farm shop had most things that you could want. Local beers and cider are some of my favourites. Very good access from the A30 and ample parking make this a highly recommended stop off.

While staying at Chard we came here for food because it was one of the top rated places to have food. I can happily say that we were not disappointed. The food is all cooked fresh and the ingredients come from their farm. They have good portions but if you want a smaller portion you just ask and obviously it will be cheaper as well. We enjoyed our food that much that we went a second time. If you go down to chard I would recommend going there for food. The shop was good too. They sell some interesting stuff and we picked up a couple of things for people back home. We will definitely go again if we go back to chard.

Basic rough camping Field on a fairly steep slope down and across, some electric pitches. Good views over valley. Shop nice but expensive. Home grown meat, no burgers for BBQ
