Courtyard Cafe in South Somerset

The Courtyard Cafe is highly competent the cakes are very palatable and not too sweetly. The hot chocolate drink was real chocolatey not overly sweet or strong. A very pleasurable encounter, enjoyable attractive cafe with courtyard you should visit.Thank you

Stopped here in the off chance. Great afternoon tea & scones would highly recommend. Also lovely gift shop on site most unusual things great for prezzies. Will certainly be going back 😊

Impatience on ordering, overpriced, argumentative on undercharging apparently for a takeaway or something, added gluten marshmallows when 2 of us explained our daughter was not to have them, then another altercation of sorts over whether we had the right to sit down for our cakes because we had takeaway coffee, after spending 25 pounds. Then just to top it off they fibbed about forgetting sweetner in the tea. Pretty easy to just say so sorry I forgot!

Went here for the first time this lunchtime. Had the Somerton breakfast plus a cuppa. Great portion size and plenty of tea at a reasonable price. Very popular place but food and drinks served quickly by lovely friendly staff including the naughty Ollie! The cakes looked fabulous but just didn’t have room.Will make this a regular place to visit.

Lovely food as always good selection, cooked on order lovely fresh ingredients. Friendly atmosphere lovely helpful staff .

A superb place to eat beautifully prepared food, and a great gift shop all in one

Enjoy this place, good to meet up with friends.Accessibility - reasonably good, negotiate your way through the gift shop, tables a bit close, but can acces. Level entrance. Sorry, did not check the loos thus timeCar Parks (free) - near by.Come in just for a cake, drink or meal.Staff (and customers) very friendly

What a pleasant suprise, you walk through the shop and enter the cafe. Plenty of seating plus the option of being outside of you want, with a great sized pot of tea (plus it's leaves not a bag) and the sandwiches was lovely (probably the best coronation chicken sandwich I've had). WARNING!! When you go up to order your confronted with so many gorgeous cakes just tempting you. agh!Friendly service, well priced and we'll be back
