Cow & Apple in South Somerset

To reach our table we passed the open door to the cellar with its attendant musty smell then there were two toilets both with open doors. Not conducive to a dining experience. The burgers were poorly seasoned. We won't be going again.

Fantastic food, lots of choice including vegan menu.They have a huge selection of gins and ciders too.Very reasonable prices and great service.

Very disappointing, lots of menu choices unavailable and when the food did come it was overcooked, very bland and cold. Although the location is lovely the place itself was grubby and smelly. A real shame really because the young girl that served us was trying her best and was very polite.

Very tasty burgers (and deserts) & they were helpful with my gluten free order as I’m coeliac. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area! Lovely view of the church & gardens also if you sit by the window or outside

Paid a visit while visiting the area with my boyfriend and we were extremely pleased with everything. The staff was polite, the service was quick, and the food was delicious with generous portions. Would recommend to anyone, even those that do not drink.

Friendly staff, beautiful location and extremely tasty food!The burgers are fresh and extremely tasty. Customer service was excellent. Even though we didn't book the accommodated us with no fuss or complaint. Definitely will be visiting again and would suggest.

Great place to meet friends and have a real burger. Even their vegan options looked delicious. Loved the choice of ciders and very reasonably priced.

The staff were friendly and helpful enough, but the food is massively overpriced and mediocre at best. Over cooked hot dog in a bun and average chips for £14. No frills and not presented with any flair or care. Sauces and condiments in sachets like a naff pub. Thinks it’s a lot better than it is, probably relying on the fact it’s one of the only half interesting eating establishments in town.

Nice place, and good to have something different but to me the food was average!!!Came out a little cold and wasn't very much on our plates. Plus our side order never arrived!Everything was a little over cooked and then left to get cold.The cider was lovely though 😍Very friendly staff,apart from you don't know who is staff as they wear their own clothes, no uniform, a tshirt etc with a label would help.A Staff member Wearing a very very short mini skirt didn't give the place a particularly high standard. The burgers here are amazing, the chips were out of this world and the selection of ciders made me want to abandon the car and stay all night. The view of the church surrounded by flowers made it extra special. But... The best thing about this place was the staff, no request too difficult to handle. Knowledgeable and friendly.
