Daniel Sushi in South Somerset

The food is exceptional we had the taste of Japan fish selection and everything was amazingly tasty and beautifully presented. Staff were polite and helpful we would highly recommend visiting Daniel

The most amazing Sushi 🍣 place! On our way from Sussex to Cornwall and wanted to stop for something to eat. This place flashed up as we were approaching Yeovil and I'm so glad we stopped here. You can tell the food is made with great care and the passion for the cuisine is evident. Will stop again if in the area!

First of all, the food was amazing, my husband and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I would say our visit was satisfactory. HOWEVER, the menu was extremely confusing and did not have all the prices on it. No photos or descriptions of what was inside each dish. Our waiter was very friendly but seemed like his mind was elsewhere and couldn't tell us exactly what was in each dish but kept recommending the most expensive thing on the menu (from what we could see). We were the only people there but food took quite a long time to arrive, this was also strange as it was a Friday night, we were hoping for it to be a good atmosphere but it felt a bit dead:/ This doesn't change the fact that the food was very good though.

Beautiful little sushi place that we found by chance, on our way to Cornwall. Seriously considering stopping there on the way home. Sushi was fresh and haven't tasted any better than here. The chef clearly has a passion for it.

Monday night 6 pm reservation for 4.Not busy .Great service. We had the gourmet selection for 2 + 2 mains. Miso soup plus 2 rice bowls. The gourmet sushi etc was plenty to share between 4, delicious variety and the gourmet main comes in one dish to share. Beautifully presented, will definitely be eating there again. A**

Such a hidden gem, very lucky to come and tried it out. The food is superb, every mouthful is a delight! The set menus offers good variety and the place is clean and spacious with friendly staff and excellent service. Definitely will be back again, highly recommend.

Very nice meal with my family. Well spaced out tables felt Covid safe. Service very attentive. Food quality excellent. We had a number of set menus and I’d like to try other dishes next time.

We really enjoyed our meal at Daniel Sushi, the food was freshly made to order and delicious! The restaurant has a charming interior and everyone is very friendly. We'll be back for more!

I am normally not a fan of sushi but after tasting some sushi I thought they where rediculicly good. The duck teriyaki is also very good and fits in like a glove. Would come again.

My congratulations to the owner and chef of this restaurant. It makes Yeovil a better place to live. The food is just amazing!! It's like having a piece of Japan in the middle of Somerset.
