I have eaten here previously and the food was excellent however when 6 friends and I ate here Saturday night the food was diabolical. The vegetables were frozen and couldn't be eaten. My eggs were cold and hadn't been cooked on top. The onion gravy was almost non existent and certainly had no onion in it. The chefs reply was "there's nothing I can do about it".One member of our group was charged £10+ for four drinks and yet another member purchased exactly the same drinks and was charged £19+We won't be returning that's for sure!Follow on to your reply.I don't think you even know which one I was!! As for complaints about our table. Please could you kindly tell me what the complaints were as we most certainly didn't cause any reason for complaints and myself in particular was the quietest out of us all..I guess it's a case of when a ship is sinking you try to bring everyone else down with it.Considering it was the Queens Jubilee and you had a singer on the fact that there was only us eating and just a handful of people in the pub that speaks volumes.

I've not been here for a while. But visited on Easter Sunday had a wonderful meal. Lovely place lovely staff. And we were allowed to take our greyhound in with us. Thank you for a great time. We will definitely be back soon.

I've gone back to ordering sausage and mash as a bench mark for pub food. Usually it's down to the quality of sausage and gravy with he really those silly little peas (sorry escapeas!!) This however came with nine, yes nine perfectly cooked veg, with excellent sausages from bonners and great mash to boot. Did I mention NINE different veg..... that's what I'm talking about. The bench Mark has been raised. Add in the fantastic pub and staff. Go here...... it's a gem.

A lovely unspoilt country pub with 4 really excellent real Ales and room for another. Traditional pub menu and well priced. Lovely beer garden too. As a Railway person I was completely taken in by the 'local railway' theme. Made to feel welcome by friendly staff, so will be back. Tganks

My husband and I had a delicious meal at Dinnington Docks last night. We both started with the goats cheese with apple and walnut salad and I followed with turbot in a yummy sauce with perfectly cooked baby turnips and carrots. My husband had ham, egg and chips. The service was very friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was great. Altogether a fabulous place to be.

Absolutely perfect from the moment we arrived, excellent table service, meals were hot and good portion sizes. The meat was you expect from Bonners excellent. My wife had a vegan meal best she's ever had was her commented on the way home in the car. Big thank you to all the kitchen staff.

Great food, good portion sizes, and attentive service. They didn't keep asking if we wanted more drinks as some places do. We will be going back. Keep up the good work.

Homely pub tucked away in beautiful Dinnington. Excellent food followed by excellent service. Can’t fault this place - chicken was cooked to perfection and oyster mushroom starter was delightful.
