Hunters Lodge Inn in South Somerset

The hunters lodge is a lovely pub very popular ,I had booked it for 6 of us for a birthday meal we were greeted by the landlord he showed us to our table after after a few minutes we were asked what drinks we would like then order our food it' was lovely very big portion's staff were very friendly and helpful I would definitely recommend this pub it's very family friendly & homely as well ,there's a good size car park .

Loads of perking and great place to take children.Rooms are basic, but very clean. Staff are lovely and friendly and the carvery is lovely on a Sunday. Good value for money. We have visited on pie night, which was home made and really tasty.

The food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative I have is that the lighting could have been a bit better.

I've come here with family a few times already. Always great food at the restaurant, which explains why they're often busy! Despite how full it gets, service is consistently good. Definitely recommend.

I really can't fault the sunday roast! The food was incredible and it was an unlimited meal which you don't see very often these days! On top of all this you are welcomed with fantastic service from some lovely members of staff. If I could give them more stars I would and can't wait to go back again. Thankyou!

Went on a spontaneous visit for gradsons first birthday along with 2 other grandsons aged 2.5 years the other 20 months plus their mums. Tables were fully booked so ate out in one of two under cover eating areas. Excellent choices on menu and children's menu plus fee colouring books/stickers and crayons for the children. The well presented food was delivered to our table outside by very friendly staff. After lunch the children had a great time in the well laid out play area. Would highly recommend for families with young children.

Decent lunch/brunch food at reasonable, maybe slightly above average prices. We stopped off on our way to a holiday stay and again on the way back. On the way back we missed breakfast and they don't serve food after breakfast but before lunch, but they made an exception which allowed is to have some food without waiting an hour, thank you.

A two night stay and we'll worth it, we stayed in 'the lodge'. The Inn is just off the A303 so we thought it might be noisy from the road, it actually wasn't too bad.Food very nice and all the staff were very friendly.Great play area for the children if needed.14 ensuite rooms so just a nice size.Will certainly stay here again.
