Lamb and Lion in South Somerset

Traditional country inn. Very welcoming. Good menu. Very popular. Unfortunately we couldn't eat as all the tables had been booked in advance. A good sign of a decent food pub! Harry's Cider, made nearby, is worth trying.

Beautiful country pub. The facilities are lovely and well kept. Only stopped by for a drink so cannot comment on the food but the menu looked great so we will come back for tea soon.

It was my first visit yesterday on my daughters recommendation. It did not disappoint. A very warm welcome by the staff and we were even shown round. In a lovely setting with fields surrounding it. Great outdoor seating too. The lunch was really good beautifully presented and was really tasty, good portions as well. Will definitely be going back sooner rather than later. Top marks from me!

Pulled up on a Wednesday evening to an empty pub after driving through this lovely village. When asked if my husband and I could eat they said fully booked, no tables were reserved nor did they even apologise for alledgly being fully booked! It was 7.30. Think maybe they could have been more accommodating.

The best Sunday lunch we've had in a pub for years. Can't wait to return😋

Excellent little find - friendly welcome and great menu with also plenty of choice for vegetarians. Plenty of seating and lovely garden area would definitely recommend to others and would be our first choice if in the area again. Also loved the football table in the outside area it was great fun even for us grown ups!

We called in on our way to cornwall from Nottingham. we stayed over night in our camper as part of brit stops. They were very welcoming. pub was lovely. food and beer were great. It has a lovely busy local atmosphere. we will definitely visit again.
