Lotus House in South Somerset

The food was lovely, the service was friendly. From the outside you would not think much of this place but you would be fooled. All dishes come with a dietary explanation.

Never been treated so rude by staff, very customer unfriendly and unfair, placed no order and left !!!!

Really helpful as was staying in a travel lodge so rang when outside.Food was lovely, couldn't fault it.Nuts came in a separate pot which I thought was a great idea and thoughtful of the customer

Ribs and shredded beef very dry. Takes ALOT of chewing. Cartilage in the chicken chow mien. Nice prawn crackers but that's it. Personally won't be returning.

Great Chinese takeaway. Decent portions and always taste delicious! Would recommend to anyone who wants a decent meal.

Service is not good and waiting times for collection and deliveries are not acceptable, would give this take way a miss if you are in a hurry!

Very dissatisfied and for the second time as we thought we would give them another chance. 1st time we collected an order and brought home and there was a dish missing. This was rectified but half an hour later. This time we collected again (delivery not available as too busy) and my husband checked the order was complete before leaving-another item missing! 10 minutes wait. The food was ok. Chewy crispy chilli beef, the special house rice was wrong and we were given just rice! They are nowhere near as good as they were and we won’t use them again I’m afraid. They ONLY accept cash too-which especially in this pandemic I find odd!

Disorganised mess .Absolutely disgusting behaviour when food missed of orders .Continuously wrong orders and missing items .Asked for delivery and due to it being your error of item missed I was told to come collect it dispite already paying for delivery .Food not the best .Will be going to summer palace in future.

Far better than Castle Cary or Bruton's Chinese. This one actually has flavour rather than just a ton of salt. Worth the half hour round trip by car to get it!
