Mandarin in South Somerset

This is going to be a really odd complaint in the eyes of some.However I must complain regardless.I ordered my food at 18:19 it arrived to my absolute surprise exactly 10 minutes later.It arrived cold, inedible… how they think they can cook food and deliver a 6 minute drive away in 10 minutes is beyond me. It’s as though I was delivered a microwave meal that needed cooking. Wont be going there again.

Food took 2 hours and ten minutes to come.Clearly should not of been accepting orders.Food also bang average.Could of done the weekly shop and cooked a roast in that time.

Still waiting for my order, it will apparently be 50 mins late on top of the 40 mins I gave when ordering. Only for 2 people. A Diabetic having to wait an hour and a half for a take away. Shocking really.

Ordered two hours ago and was told it would be 40 mins.. rang after one hour and was told it would be twenty mins. Rang after one hour and fifty mins and was told it’s now just cooking…. So was lied to previously. When I was told it was cooking I was told it would be with me in 12 mins. Well that’s another lie as it’s only cooking and I live fifteen mins from the restaurant. Now 130 minutes since I ordered and still waiting. And this is the second time this has happened. First time was May 2021 and they gave me a free meal as compensation. That will not work on the second time. The excuse I’m given is “it’s busy due to Halloween”. Mmmm. Maybe they are trick or treating? Selling fancy dress costumes? Mmm. I think not. Just unorganised and incompetent.

Very very frustrating because the food is always lovely but never on time usually over 2 hours late and then line busy when you try and ring. This time just had a notification to say its on its way hour later and I'm still waiting. Absolute joke

Over 3 hours since ordering, still no food and completely unable to contact the restaurant, said it was delivered an hour ago but most definitely was not.

Great place, delicious food, lovely service with a smile and done in 5 mins. I ordered exactly the combination I wanted, mixed veg in garlic sauce with extra tofu. So rare to be able to do this in Asian take aways. All fresh food cooked in front of you, and crunchy veg, yum!

Really angry. Ordered food before 7pm and given 7.40 - 8.00 as delivery time. It was so late I ended up having to heat up something out of the freezer. It finally arrived after 9pm!! Really really not good enough!

I would like to review the food but it never showed up. Turns out they never even knocked on my door and then they tried to charge me an extra pound for re delivery.Decided to order from somewhere else when I heard a woman shouting at me over the lady who was trying to explain the situation on the phone. Think I'd rather just have a pot noodle than order from here.

Had to wait for 2 hours for my meal to be delivered, for it to be cold half cooked, nearly raw chicken and not an apology offered when called them back! Has to be the worst meal we have had. Would not recommend again and will never eat from them again.
