Massala Express in South Somerset

Oh dear. I ordered 2 hours ago and though I have phoned 50 times I can’t get through at all. Please don’t order from this restaurant. Now I have to get my money back. Grr. What a waste of my time. It’s now arrived cold and 2 hrs late. What a joke. Don’t buy from this place

Have ordered from here for years and they have never disappointed! I wouldn't go anywhere else. Such a kind, friendly customer service and the most delicious food to go with it! Best in town by far :)

Highly recommended! I've ordered here quite a few times and each time was absolutely spot on. This evening I asked for a medium spiced chicken dish without tomatoes for my tomato hating husband and it was no trouble for them whatsoever. It was delicious and he was really happy with what the chef had made. I always have a chicken Shashlick and I can honestly say Masala Express make the best one in town by far! Delivery is always on time or early, the driver is very polite, the food is amazing and hot and its really good value for money - I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

This was the worst Indian I have ever had. My partner had lamb biriani and it was mushed up vegetables (carrots and peas mashed up) in a tastless sauce. There was no lamb in it. I had a lamb shizlick and it wasn't lamb, it was dry chicken again tastless and revolting, also I found a hair in my food which is very unhygienic. We had pillau rice which had meat and peas in it and again, it didn't have the aroma of Indian spices. The saga loo was cold and disgusting a very tastless meal which made us feel sick. All the side sauces were watery and tasteless. We were expecting a delicious and tasteful meal, to end a wonderful day but we were sadly disappointed.

Had 4 or 5 multiple dish meals from Masala express.The chicken Phall and the rogan josh dishes are excellent.Good overall quality and tasty spiced dishes. I recommend trying them.

I asked for a curry that they didn't do (like a tool) as I was looking at the wrong menu. They were happy to make it for me and if I'm honest it was the best curry I've ever had! Great flavour and a really good price. Wish we lived closer! We will be back!

Best Curry in town, always tasty and aromatic, great customer service, reasonable prices. Always cooked to Your personal taste. Lots meat in dishes not like others I've tryed before. Won't go anywhere else.

Always top class tasty food, pleasant staff, fast delivery and all for a fair price. I find it hard to believe that a couple of people left one star ratings, makes me wonder if it's the inferior competition trying to damage reputations. Hands down these guys do the best curry in town!
