Matt`s Kitchen in South Somerset

What a wonderful dining experience!The food was excellent, Matt and the waitresses were super friendly and hospitable. Very reasonable and lovely to bring your own alcohol / drinks too!Thank you so much - came on a recommendation and will certainly recommend / come again if in the area.

Great food, friendly chef, simple concept. Sit in the quirky dining room in Matt's house and enjoy a fixed menu. Bring your own wine, and sparkling water. We had a lovely fermented turmeric hummus atop some toast. Boqurones on toast. A lump of fine local cheddar. A chilled cucumber consomme. Then for main Indonesian chicken and giant couscous (fregola). Dessert was a dark chocolate bomb and a summer berries ice cream.

My only hesitation of writing this review is that it'll mean I struggle to get a booking at MK in the future! Personal, intimate, delicious! A lovely treat as lockdown eases

This was a great meal out. The food was perfect. Lovely intimate venue. Couldn't of wished for better! Definitely going to be recommending Matts kitchen to friends and family!

It's rare to find a restaurant that gets everything exactly right. Amazing food, excellent service, reasonable prices, cozy ambience. It's like going for dinner at your best friend's house.Plus Matt has a wicked sense of humour!

Matt's Kitchen is the Avant Garde Foodie of the South-West. Having dined there three times so far I'm about to book my 4th visit with friends and it never disappoints. The rustic charm of the place oozes character & quality and the staff are super efficient. Matt's warm and quirky sense of humour always brings a much welcome sense of light heartedness to the tables too! :-))

One of the gem's of Somerset, we're so lucky to have Matt's Kitchen in Bruton. Wonderful food, beautiful relaxed surroundings, friendly and helpful staff. It's an absolute must! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
